Redstorm FINALLY went out on her own and DROVE to school today! The Princess had an out of own basketball game so DD was unavailable to pick her up after SOCCER PRACTICE! She was SO excited...21 girls turned out for practice...the most they've ever had!

A little "down" ...she'll miss their "talks" after practices as they drive home. They're all going in different directions so much that was the only time they had a chance to have one on ones. They'll have to find another time for that now. Other than that she said she actually got to work on time and this evening she had a 1 1/2 hour road trip for the basketball game and she was just glad she didn't have to rely on someone else to pick her up from soccer practice...and I was relieved that "someone" wasn't ME since I'm working on decorations. Our Small Town Christmas is this Friday and it's always my goal to get everything done by that date. 4 nights to decorate and I need about 6-7 more ! My niece and great-niece are already bugging me to get them finished...along with the neighborhood kids . The great-niece drove by last weekend and stopped and rang the doorbell to tell me her kids were having a fit that my lights weren't on yet! I told her she'd better quit "complaining" or I'd draft HER to help me next year since "the older I get the slower I get"!
