So right now we are book at FQ but looking back at history that resort is always excluded from any free dinning deals, so our next option is RS but I need a 3rd Mod resort that I am willing to stay at if it comes down to it.


Out the CB or CS which resorts has any one stayed at and which ne would you recommend. I don’t like the size of those two resorts and with many kids I don’t want to be walking a lot for food and to the buses.

I've stayed at both CS and CB and liked both of them. I think I liked CS better but, the kids may like CB better. I have never ridden the bus or had to walk for food so I don't have an opinion on that.

Year and a half ago I stayed at CB for marathon weekend. I liked it. It was nice and comfortable. It was also very quiet. It was just me there since this was seven weeks after dad passed. I didn't think it was to bad of a walk to get to the main hall either. I think i was in the 5500 building. I will have to look at the resort map when I get home

It has been a little while since I have stayed over at CS although I have stopped over there recently. CS is a convention resort. Also has a little more of a deluxe feel to it but at a moderate price. It is out there close to the McDonalds. But then it would not matter since you would be on Disney transportation.

I also picked rooms close to the hall when the kids and i stayed there since we were there for martial arts tournaments.

If I were to choose one over the other I would go with CS.

just looking at the maps of both CB and CS and they both seem to be spread out a lot.

compaired to RS which is spread out different but I don't find it a long walk to et around and of course our fav FQ which you can walk from one end to the other with in mins lol

I'm afraid you're out of luck with the walking to food with either one of those unless you're lucky enough to get rooms on the food court side of the resorts. I have an appointment at 5:30 but will post some "distance photos" from CB this evening so you can see. We liked CB but didn't like the walk to the food court.

They are both huge. We've stayed at CB since the room refurb and enjoyed it. Had a really good meal at Shutters. Lots of walking. If you don't get a preferred room, request one in Jamaica or Aruba near the bridge. Its been awhile since we stayed at CS. Both have good counter food options but like the beach theme a bit better.

We just came home and guess what.....................IT WAS SNOWING. It didn't last long maybe 30 min but it was a mixture of snow and ice. This morning was in the 30's and tomorrow is supposed to be high of 49. I'm REALLY ready for some nice weather.

Jeff hope you get free dining. I liked POR better than CB. Never stayed at CS but I think I would try it over CB, I didn't really care for CB. Loved POR.

We just came home and guess what.....................IT WAS SNOWING. It didn't last long maybe 30 min but it was a mixture of snow and ice. This morning was in the 30's and tomorrow is supposed to be high of 49. I'm REALLY ready for some nice weather.

I'm sorry Diane but I had to laugh ... it was a "you've got to be kidding me" laugh though! But not to surprised...I was listening to a Michigan radio station this morning and they mentioned snow showers in their weather report. If it's any consolation our pool cover is still covered with pollen and DGD's are getting antsy!
