Where/how do you store your recycling?

I hate those big recycling bins, so I keep an extra trash can in my kitchen with a clear blue trash bag in it. My kids know that cans and bottles go in that trash can, and everything else goes in the regular one. I also have a big basket by my fireplace with a stash of paper grocery bags in it. Newspapers and other paper trash goes in the grocery bags.

How about you?

We have one bin for cans and plastic and another for paper/cardboard. The city supplies them. I keep the one for cans/plastic in my walkin pantry. The other is in the garage.

We keep our town-provided recycling buckets on our side porch.

We keep them in the garage. We have a real large garbage can type for paper (all kinds) and smaller ones for mixed glass, cans, alum. We keep a paper grocery bag in our laundry room, which is between the kitchen and the garage, that we put our papers in until it's filled up and then we bring that out to the garage. We bring the cans, etc directly out to the garage.
