My ex is taking DD to WDW in June and I need to get a letter for her to go across. I am not sure where to do this. I have heard that there are some places that only charge $25 to do it, while others charge $100 or more. I need the $25 place! LOL! Help! Thanks.
ps. We are in the fraser valley BC if anyone can point me somewhere

Write it yourself and have it signed by a notary. Your own lawyer may also sign it free of charge.

I have a letter that a neighbor who is a lawyer wrote up for me for whenever I take the kids shopping across the border. I just show them the letter at the border right away along with the birth certificates. It works out well for me and my husband so there is no hassle with the kids.

My husband and I are still together but I took my daughter to Las Vegas a couple of years ago and went to a notary public. It cost either $25 or $30. They never asked for it going through the border but I am glad that I had it. Where do you live? I am in Kamloops. We are going to WDW Sept 30 to Oct 12. :ccat: :maleficen :stitch:

We just had a letter done up for ds (7). He was treated by his Aunt and Uncle to a trip to Orlando in April.........no disney this time thought. We wrote up a letter, took it to our town hall and had the notary witness our signatures and then he signed also. They had no problems with customs at all!!
