Where exactly in Epcot did Wheel of Fortune film (and when)?

We were at home last night flipping through channels and caught the last 10 minutes of Wheel of Fortune. Clearly, they were in Epcot, but we only saw a quick glimpse or two and couldn't tell exactly where they were. They clearly weren't all the way back in WS, because the monorail track was too close. But I couldn't figure out where they were and where they'd have the room to set it all up. Anyone know exactly where they were? And when were they filmed?

We did notice at the very end, Pat and Vanna were standing right outside The Land building...stepping on the flowers... :upsidedow

I was there over Columbus Day weekend this past year and they were filming then. The stage was in the location circled below. I also saw a few remote shots being filmed around the parks over those few days as well.

I think the show also used a big green screen behind the contestants which rotated different “backgrounds” as well.

Hope that helps!

Sure was a pain to not have that area open for Illuminations viewing. Was also odd to walk up to that area and have it totally blocked off. Barriers were up, and the stage & seating were built up high enough to block out the American pavilion.

Ah, got it! Thanks. What an interesting place to set up, right at the twin gift shops. There is a lot of room there, but I can see how it would be a pain in the rear for guests trying to navigate around.

Yeah, we noticed the big screen behind the contestants showing different shots of WDW.
