Wow, 3:15am rolls around very fast. We were ready within an hour and in the lobby by 4:20am.
The front desk attendant was so sweet, she just talked and talked. By 4:40am there still was no taxi, the attendant called the company and was informed that the driver of the accessible taxi wasnt working that early. We were just about to decide to drive the van when the attendant started calling other cab companies. She explained the situation and another company said they were on our way.
Who was this sweet angel attendant? On her name tag
M I C K E Y, yes, I am not making that up, her name was Mickey. We were picked up at 4:55am and in front of the airport by 5:05am. We got through the ticket counter and security by 5:22am and at the gate at 5:35am.
Bill was thirsty so we got an orange juice and a cookie:
The flight was scheduled to take off at 6:45am, they had us pre-board at 6:15am, and we got to leave 5 minutes early. We landed at 9:20am; we are always the last off because they have to get the wheelchair out of the belly of the plane. The Magical Express line was very short.
Bill getting on ME:
We were at Pop by 11am.
We went to check in, they wanted to stick us in the farthest building in the 80s section, I requested closer, so they switched us to the 70s but it wasnt ready yet. We decided to go to the food court and get something to share. We got an individual pizza, Bill got a carrot cake, I got water and a fruit cup. I loved the Christmas themed napkins:
We were in line for the Magic Kingdom bus by:
Wow, we were there 16 days prior and got to take in all the Halloween decorations, now there is Christmas:
We took a bad photopass picture:
(It just about killed me to post that, I have big arms and with me starting to lose this weight they are more flabby then ever, I am working on them, but arrrgggghh it is slow going, but for the TR I post them)
Then we headed onto Main Street.
We saw Pinocchio with a short line so we hopped in it.
It started to rain, we went into the Emporium and looked around. We continued all the way through it and by the time we got out it had stopped raining. We went to the first aid station for personal care, here is what a low bed looks like if anyone is interested:
I really loved the landscaping at WDW, it is just beautiful:
We headed to the handicap accessible parade area at Liberty Square for the 3pm parade. Look how pretty the sky was:
I cant get enough of that gorgeous blue WDW sky, can you?
We had seen this parade for the first time back in October, we really enjoyed it.
Mickey waving at Bill:
Eeyore coming to say hello:
Well then Tigger had to say hi too:
Stitch dropped by:
I had never seen them have to pull a float around the corner before:
Aww, sweet Minnie:
Then the parade was over, we decided to check out Fantasyland. This is the first time I really looked at the back of the castle, so stunning:
Time to try something new:
I really cant tell you why we hadnt done it before. The pictures were really cute:
The CM had us wait for the wheelchair accessible ride vehicle. She wanted Bill to go in forward, from now on he will back in, it was really hard for him to maneuver going in forward.
