Just about everywhere. I have a moderate coconut allergy, and you'd be suprised where it shows up. How long has it been since your diagnosis? Avoid most soft serve ice cream at buffets, avoid ALL popcorn in the parks, it is made with coconut oil. Make sure all your ADR's have your allergy notated, tell every server, make sure you speak to chefs. Do not drink power ade without reading the label (it varies batch to batch from coconit oil to other commodity oils). The Main Street Bakery has a book behind the counter that lists every ingredient in every thing made there. Many other locations cannot provide an ingredients list. Many desserts are not made onsite, they are made at a central location and/or off property. Avoid any fried food where they have fried coconut shrimp (or anything with coconut) on the menu (oil isn't cleaned between uses).
Learn every word associated with coconut, as an in ingredient it goes by a couple of names.
Reserach cross/related items. I also react from hazelnuts and latex
Avoid hand soaps, shampoos, and lotions that do not have ingredients listed.
Make sure you carry benadryl with you and/or your epi pen. As far as benadryl, I carry the childrens quick dissolve strips with me. It gets into your system faster then swallowing a pill, and is easier to carry then a liquid.
