Where does Arby's get this money?

Wish we had one in our town. There's one 15 miles east of us and 30 miles west both seem to do a booming business.

About 20 years ago it seemed like Wendy's was huge and that they were giving McDonald's a run for their money. Over time, I noticed Wendy's food just didn't have much flavor anymore. It wasn't like it was terrible, it was just...nothing.

The thing about Arby's is that they "owned" their corner of the market. Competing roast beef sandwich restaurants are few and far between.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this business deal. Maybe we'll get burgers with Horsey sauce.

The Arby's near us does about the same as the other fast food places.

However, Arby's the Corporation gets the moolah from the franchisees and is guaranteed a minimum $ amount regardless of the amount of business of any specific franchised location.

I like Arby's, yet we rarely go. We don't eat out much as it is, but when we do it seems like Arby's never comes to mind. I think they are more expensive than other fast food places, and after they changed their chicken sandwiches a few years back I rarely get the urge to go.
