Nashville! Music City USA just hasn't been the same since Opryland closed. Disney needs to go there, bulldoze the mall and build it better.

Disney is an American Icon so why build outside the U.S.A? Mickey needs to stay here. It's like China building a copy of the Great Wall of China over here to make money - it's just not the same. :lmao:

Now, being from Texas this is going to sound bias. I would build a park here in Texas. :woohoo: Why? Well, we have Disney on the East coast and on the West coast. The next logical place would be in the middle, right? Each place has it's pros and cons. Yes, it gets hot at times here but it gets too cold up north too. My vote is for Texas. We have lots of land for lots of Disney magic.

I would doubt that Disney builds in a cold place... especially after the Chicago properties didn't work out too well.

I go for NONE OF THE ABOVE... USE THE MONEY TO IMPROVE THE CURRENT THEME PARKS.

There ya' go..:thumbsup2

Speaking of where to build the next Disney, I've heard rumors around here that Disney bought up a bunch of land in one of our northern suburbs. (I'm from the Dallas, Texas area.) Has anybody heard of anything like this??:thumbsup2

Interesting thought of course and not likely to happen but of course I say VA :) There is much speculation about the closing of Busch Gardens, Williamsburg due to the new buyers not wanting to deal with amusement parks.... (hey, a gal can dream cant she....lol)

I checked once, and it appears as though the entire footprint of the Magic Kingdom (including a good portion of the behind the scenes sections) would fit within the footprint of Mall of America. This isn't to say that they have plans to "gut" MOA, but a similar structure could be built anywhere to adequately do the job.

While building an indoor Magic Kingdon might do little to satisfy "purists," it would probably do quite well in the colder sections of the U.S. If there's one thing that MOA, some of the huge water parks in the Wisconsin Dells, and the West Edmonton Mall have taught us is that there's a demand for such structures during those cold months we have to endure.

Just a thought...

Hey, Walt actually wanted to put a dome over the MK in Florida. I Wonder, if he lived if he would have tried that idea?:confused3

Is it politically correct to say Brazil???
If not, forget I said it.
As for the US, I'd much rather see them do better with WDW and forego any new parks

Don't be afraid to say what is not "politically incorrect" I for one have had it with that term. This is a free country still, isn't it? Free speach, remember? My fathers good friend perished overseas defending our right to free speach. {getting off the soapbox now} As for Brazil, maybe that would keep those noisy, rude tour groups home! :thumbsup2

never bought the Tshirt. :lmao:

I would love to see an indoor MK in the Great Lakes states and I would actually go. However say "indoor theme park" to anyone who lived in Chicago in the 70s(as I did) and we will all laugh.:rotfl2: If the name "Old Chicago Amusement Park" doesn't mean anything to you just google it. I road my 1st roller coaster at Old Chicago. Old Chicago opened shortly before great America. Who would have thought that the amusement park that could only be open 5 months out of the year would outlast the year round park.

I want them to build a huge park right here in NJ!!!! Nothing like riding Splash Mountain in a blizzard!!!!

Nj/PA/Va/Ma/NY

I'm tired of driving all the way to florida, and flying is boring.
-BUT-
I do like the idea of one in brazil.
They always run around screaming and being rude.
Oh-
And talk about ruining the magic. When we where at fantasmic, all the brazilians stood up and started singing their national song. Right there!

I do not think Disney will build any more parks in the US. They would take away from there parks in Calif. & Florida. I would think they would be looking at South America for there next parks.

Hey, they can tear down great adventure and put it there. {It's still there. isn't it?}:confused3
