Where do you think the best Italian food can be found at WDW?

kids could (& do) eat pizza every chance they get....but I'm thinking lasagna, etc.

We really enjoy Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk! We've eaten there twice and both times we thought the food and service were excellent

I have heard that the one at the Swan is very good, but it's 'fancy' Italian, and pricey. I haven't eaten there myself, so I can't say for sure.

My mom had veal parmisan there and enjoyed it. I second that their pizza is very good. I've had excellent food at Mama Melroes but hear mixed reviews from other people about their food.

Il Mulino. A SIG, does not take DDP, DOES take TIW, and for us, the very BEST Italian Restaurant on site.

We enjoyed the pizza at Via Napoli.

Maybe not the "best" Italian, but we had a fantastic meal at MM. DH loved his steak so much that he asked for MM to be our anniversary meal this year.

Il Mulino
Trattoria al Forno
Via Napoli (really just for the pizza)
Tutto Italia

we love Via Napoli at Epcot....and Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk.....never been to Il Mulino...but the concencus is thats the best Italian on property.

This! I always want to love Via Napoli, because pizza is my favorite food, and its sister restaurant in DL (Naples) is always good, but I think that the pizza at Via Napoli is sub-par.

Yeap definitely our favs - Il Mulino for pasta and Italian dishes and Via Napoli for pizza -

Il Mulino without question. They also have a fantastic by the glass wine list, take TiW, have outstanding service, and you can actually get a table without scheduling 6 months out.

For Pizza Via Napoli's was better than Il Mulino, for literally everything else Il Mulino is better.

With kids and what I think you're looking for I'd recommend Via Napoli over Il Mulino

We really like Mama Melrose. Specifically, I am a big fan of the chicken campanelle there, and DH is too (although sometimes he does the shrimp version).
