Where do you see the final years of your life wishfully thinking?

We’ll still be where we are right now. Stuck in Ohio in the same old house. Wouldn’t be able to get enough out of selling it to move anywhere else.

I have often contemplated the future and I have this one goal. It is to live to 97 years old and to die at that hands of a jealous husband.

Right here. We don't have any desire to ever move from this city. We may be in this very home for quite a long while; we just moved in and are in the process of renovating with that intention. Learned something though: Don't move to the perfect empty nest, unless your nest is perfectly empty. ;)

The current market makes it tough. Hope you at least have some happy memories living in your home.

Right where I am right now. If all goes well, this will be my first, last and only home. Renovated in 2013-14. Been in this house 40 years, hope to get another 40 years......when I would be 106.

Hoping to be right here like tvguy - our first and last only home. (there are some factors that we might have to consider though in the future - health, children, etc.).

As close to my kids as I can manage. At this point (with one in Georgie and one in Arizona), I have no idea where that might be...
I may end up migrating every year.

Living where I currently do, how I currently do as healthy and as pain free as possible.

House built in '87 with no plans on moving. Have done minimum in upkeep to keep livable for DW and me (no frills people) and don't care about RESALE VALUE -- should be dead. :cool1: I have NO desire to live to a xyz age because Quality of Life is more important then Quantity of Life and will act before quality declines. DW has her plans already set for my departure before her since my cancer should see to that. :teeth:

Well, I have my house in Western PA, which is fine most of the time except for the dead of winter. I have lots of timeshares though, enough that I can spend the cold months elsewhere. I also own a home in Arizona, which I currently rent out. I might move back there. Lot's of flexibility and no set plans right now. Still working, for at least a few more years.
