Our DD3, is obsessed with wearing her Snow White costume. She would wear it every waking moment if we let her. I thought the excitement of it would wear off by now (no pun intended) but it has been almost a month now. I don't mind her wearing it after school, but she wants to wear it everywhere we go. I don't think it is going to last until Halloween. What does everyone else do?

When my DD was 3 she always wore costumes. She even wore them to the grocery store LOL. The only thing she wasn't allowed to sleep in them. The costume thing lasted pretty strong for a year. Now she is 6 and wears costumes only once in a while. DD loved her first Cinderella costume. It looked like a rag after a couple months of wearing it. :)

My DD4 wears her Snow White costume everywhere. To the dentist, post office, grocery store. I figure you have to pick and choose your battles and since you'll want to win the big, serious-stuff arguments as she gets older (boys, cars, drinking, etc.) its OK to give in on the costume.
Besides, don't they just look so cute as the princesses? princess:

Mu daughter has three costumes that go into rotation: Cinderella, Bellarina and Snow White. She is allowed to wear them anywhere except to preschool (they paint alot and play outside), the playground (she could trip and fall easily) and to bed. Other than those three, wherever she wants! As soon as she gets home from school, one of them goes on and stays on until bath time. We just went to a children's museum last week and she wore one. She even got lots of attention there. Oh, and it's not just the costume, it's the whole kit and kaboodle! Gloves, crown, septer/wand, shoes, purse, etc!

I let my dd wear hers when ever she want. Except for school and church of course. She's only little once so I want her to enjoy the "magic" as much as she can. princess:

I agree!! once DD gets to this stage i will let her wear it anywhere except bed :)

too cute!!!
