Where do hang the over the door shoe bag? Some of you all say it is a must to bring along. :rolleyes1

Thanks a :earsboy:

I hang it on the back of the bathroom door. There is a clothing hook, and I use this...

With usually just DH and myself in a category 10 I have never used the OTDSH but will be in a Category 11 this comind December with 3 of us and I think it will be a must. I would rather have it in the cabin as apposed to the bathroom though. Isn't there a hook on the closet doors that could be used? That way we can keep our cards, cameras, sunglasses etc in it.

Ditto on the back side of the bathroom door

The Shoe Bag as wierd as it sounds, was one of the more useful of the strange things we packed last time out. All those little pockets came in very handy to tuck items into. We bring it along now whenever we vacation, we found it that useful.

We were in an inside room, deck 2, catagory 10, that had a connecting door. We opened our "side" of the door (there are actually two doors right up against each other) to hang the hooks, and then closed the door back and had the shoe hanger hanging on our side of the connecting door. It's an empty spot and worked great because it was right beside the desk.

I used it for sunglasses, coffee mug, suntan lotion, arcade cards, etc., in other words, everything and anything that would fit in the pockets. LOVED IT!!

We hung ours on the back of the bathroom door - the one closest to the bed. I loved having it, kept things where I could find them and kept things from falling all over the floor. Even DH (who thought I was a madwoman with everything I packed) thought it was a good idea.

Thank you all for your help. :cheer2: For my past March 2005 crusie I bought the OTDSB that had 3 hooks. I went to Walmart today and saw the one that hangs like a hanger. Problem solved. :earsgirl:

Yes, I did have to buy it today since my next cruise is coming up so fast :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks a Mickey :wave2:

uh-oh ~ my OTDSH has three hooks to hang it so it can literally hang off the top of the door. Will it fit over the bathroom door and still allow the door to close?? I haven't seen the kind with a single hook before.

Yes it will. This is the type I bought last year, and it was perfect! We hung it over the bathroom door, facing the cabin. So that way we all had access to it, even if someone was in that bathroom. It was the handiest thing I packed - I hate to be disorganized, and with 4 of us in the cabin (me the only female) I was able to get everyone to use it, so stuff wasn't all over the place! :flower:

what a relief...I am looking forward to using this ingenious organizer! I can't stand to be disorganized and with 5 of us, there are always tons of bottles of stuff, hair accessories and small "things" everywhere. Whoever thought of this idea  deserves an award!!

We were in a Cat 11 and hung the OTDSH from a SUCTION CUP hook on the tile above the commode. Worked great since it was right by the sink and available for contact solution, shampoo, face wash etc. We got a pack of 4 suction hooks at the dollar store for $1.00. Used another one on the mirror near the door to the hall to hang our lanyards with our KTTW cards. Stuck another hook near the vanity mirror to hang DH's hat.

I thought they were a great addition to the "must haves"

So...since there are two bathroom doors, could you feasibly use 2 OTD shoe holders...one facing into the cabin for misc. stuff you would need to access from the cabin, and one facing into the other bathroom for bathroom stuff? Or is that overkill?

Next time I'm going to take an extra one for ......shoes of all things :rotfl:

I'm with CM Mom...I have to get a second one for SHOES....Had not thought of that. :rotfl2:
