Amen to that! Our first trip, I packed the espresso maker and my coffee. Last year, I didn't and regretted it. This year, the French Press is going and so is my coffee. I'm such a coffee snob.
I too love a good cup of coffee in the morning....ok maybe two But I will say this....we just got back Wednesday from POP....I had groceries delievered so along with that came the coffee creamer. I had heard how bad it was. And I was suprised...it wasnt like I was drinking sludge. With enough creamer it wasnt THAT bad. I'm by no means saying it was good but it was drinkable and it did wake us up. With that if you are sitting and drinking it that probably means your at Disney and I would much rather drink sludge at Disney then be at home and at work. Oh I can taste the sludge now....
Also Jikos & Boma have French press Kenyan coffee. The store at the AKL sells the Kenyan coffee, too.
Yep, we always pack our own filters & coffee
Sheesh, with all of the excellent coffee companies in the US, you'd think Disney would contract with a great one!
in italy they have an espresso stand where i had one of the best latte's i have ever had. the espresso and milk were sooo good it needed no sweetner. (i usually put some in my starbucks)
The little coffee shop next to Kona is only open very limited hours in the morning. The french press pot at Kona was wonderful.
Now remember if your brewing your own coffee make sure to use bottle water, the water at WDW is just as bad as the coffee! When we put our order in for Garden Grocer we always include a gallon of water for coffee.
