Where do you buy your park tickets?

We are part of the Disney Vacation Club and so this is the first year I actually have to buy tickets - we have always done everything through a travel agent.

Honestly I had no idea how expensive the park tickets were - they have always been rolled into the final price!

Where do you buy your park tickets other than through Disney itself?

I'd like to know the answer to this question too. So far we have looked into CAA, who offer some sort of priority parking location that is apparently worthwhile Otherwise my work rewards program (work perks) also sells tickets, but I haven't compared prices to CAA. I get the mousesavers emails, but I'm concerned about buying tickets through an online broker, with all the stories of people paying big bucks, just to find out their tickets are useless.

I have purchased all my tickets from Undercover Tourist for the past 5 years at least. They are an authorized Disney seller. I use the Mousesaver's link for a lower price. Shipping is free and they always arrive in about a week. Nyhey are tickets not vouchers. Excellent service and great prices.

Undercover Tourist for me too. Used them twice now - no problems. Be sure to take a pic of your tickets and email yourself - just in case you lose those tickets! Disney can track the number and replace it for you if you have the number.

You may want to purchase them at AAA when you get to Orlando. Here is a little comparison with CAA and prices are in US dollars at CAA as well.

My understanding is that there are no discounts for one day passes. It's the same price if you buy them directly from WDW.

We usually get ours free from Air Miles.

I bought our tickets for our upcoming March Break trip through Undercover Tourist. I was a bit concerned but posted the question on my school board's "swap shop" and had three or four teachers reply that they had purchased through UT before with great success. I got the tickets in days and they are ready to use in March.

(In case you're wondering why so early: got them before the June price increase, with the Mousesavers code AND when the dollar was almost par)

Since you are DVC you can get an Annual Pass from Disney for $399 I think! That may be your best deal, if you are there longer than 10 days in one year! Otherwise, undercovertourist as others have said.

Even better, depending on when you're going to be travelling, is the Premium Annual Pass deal through DVC. We get a PAP, as they call it, for $399. This is a great deal, since among other perks (such as the water parks, Disney Quest, and free parking in the parks) you will receive a 20 per cent discount on merchandise purchased in the parks. The full details are on the DVC website.

You have to buy a voucher for the pass between October and December this year. You have to the end of next year to redeem the pass.

As Ted mentioned, you might find it's great value depending on how long your next visit will be. Also, you could consider getting only one pass because of all the perks, and then purchase others for the rest of the family.

We took DD's BFF this past month and I bought her pass through Undercover Tourist. It arrived in less than a week, and was shipped from a Toronto address.

Someone above posted regarding Workperks.

I bought Disneyland passes in 2010 and 2011 from Workperks. This year they have gone up an awful lot - the discount isn't near as much as it has been in the past. They DO charge a fee as well - in the past it was $10 per pass, but this year, it's gone up to $15 per pass. So this was how I figured it:

Remember, this is Disneyland, not Disney World, and is for a 3 day parkhopper:

Workperks: $225 per 3 day pass, plus $15 service charge - $240 total.

AMA (CAA): $238 for a 3 day pass. This includes parking, whereas Worksperks' tickets do not. This is also in US$. I bought ours on Friday and because our dollar is up, a 3 day Disneyland parkhopper cost me $235 per ticket.

So in a nutshell, each pass cost me $5 less at CAA, plus we get free parking.
