I had a Thirty-One wristlet, but the stitching came undone at the corner and I can no longer carry it. I like Thirty-One, but this is the third piece I've had problems with so I will no longer buy their stuff.

I'm not really a Vera Bradley kind of girl, but really like the look of their all in one wristlet. Where do you buy your Vera Bradley items and find the best price? I don't really want to overspend on this, as I've not owned one of their pieces before and am not sure I will love it in the end.

Is the Vera Bradley stuff sturdy? Tell me why you love your VB items.

I usually buy it online through the Vera Bradly website and shop the sale patterns. A few times I've gotten a piece on Ebay

My mom used to sell Vera Bradley years ago. At the time at least, they dictated to retailers what the price should be and my mom was not allowed to put the pieces on sale (she also got them half off, I really miss those days). They also limited how many retailers could sell Vera in a certain mile radius, but they've laxed up on that part now, so may now allow sales as well, but I tend to assume everyone will have the same price unless you go directly to Vera Bradley.

Love Vera Bradley for lightweight items like my cross body hipster. Great for Disney! I use eBay and Material Girl Handbags (I know the owners).

If you sign up for their email they will send you a 40% off coupon during your birthday month. By buying a sale pattern online, using the coupon and a small GC I had I was able to get the Weekender bag for free!

And when you're visiting WDW, you can hit the VB outlet. I picked up a cute little wristlet there on sale! :)

They also send you a $20.00 off coupon to be used during your birthday month if you sign up in the store. I know it is off of a certain amount, but I can't remember what. It's either $50.00 or $75.00. And, my birthday was only in May. Can't remember anything anymore.

I love my Vera because it's pretty, I know what to expect as far as size and usefulness, and I can resell if I don't like it or if it still looks decent when I'm done with it. I like to buy on ebay mostly, and there are a couple of Facebook groups I browse on. I have made a few orders on the Vera website too but usually if I'm patient I can find what I'm looking for second-hand. If I lived in a bigger area (and had more patience) I'd probably check consignment shops/Goodwill/rummage sales but I can't find anything nice around here.

In just under two weeks, the new Disney patterns will be out! Looks like they'll be resort only at first, and then available online in October.

I may have to pay full price for a mini-hipster in the Just Mousing Around pattern, it's so cute!

I also think that, for cloth bags, it's pretty sturdy. I used to have a large duffel I'd check when I flew, and while the straps started to come unsewed, the bag itself is still in great shape and the straps could easily be repaired.

I also have two purses I carry -- one spring/summer one fall/winter. I bought them both in 2010 and they are still in good shape. The handle is starting to get a little frayed from daily use over 3 years, but I think they've held up remarkably well.

I can't wait for the Disney Vera. We will be there Oct 1 and I have budgeted about $200 for new Vera.

I buy most of mine on ebay. However, I also go to WDW several times a year and always pick up several Vera Bradley items at the Vera Bradley outlet down there. I've also ordered quite a bit from the VB website. We also have a store here locally called Groovy's that sells VB. I've picked up a few items there. So it just depends.

I love my Vera and admit I am addicted.:rotfl: I have multiple small and large duffels, two of the rolling luggage (both a rolling duffel and a spinner), luggage tags, several Weekenders and Grand Travelers, a garment bag, Get Carried Away bag, Miller bags, multiple backpacks, the hanging toiletry bags in Large, Medium, Essentials, and Mini, many cosmetic bags in all sizes (small, medium, large, grand cosmetic, brush & pencil, round cosmetic, home & away, kiss & makeup, clear cosmetics, clear lotion, hatboxes, trip kits, etc), mini hipsters, hipsters, fanny packs, many styles of totes, many different wristlets, tech bags, laptop sleeves, umbrellas, envelopes, lanyards with zip ID cases, head bands, pill organizers, contact lens cases, ditty bags, a sarong, sunglasses, pens, pencils, calculator, watches, many purses, coin purses, and wallets, etc. I have a whole closet in my spare bedroom filled with shelves of Vera Bradley. I'll be down there next weekend when the new Disney Vera Bradley items are going to be released at DTD. I plan on being there bright and early to pick up a duffel, backpack, mini hipster, wristlet, and a cosmetic bag. Yeah, I'm definitely addicted.

I'm lucky as we have a VB store at the mall which is 5 minutes from my house but they have an outlet at Wrentham Outlets which is about 35 minutes away. I am also signed up for email and can't wait for my birthday discount email.

I get most of mine on ebay. If you want to see what a particular items looks like most Hallmark stores carry VB. Then you can go to Ebay and see if someone has it for sale.

I wish that was all I was going to spend.:rotfl: I'll be down there Sept 21st on the day the new collection is released. I'm planning on being there bright and early and waiting in line to grab a duffel, backpack, mini hipster, wristlet, and cosmetic bag.

Got my Vera Bradley all in one wristlet on EBay for $17! I'm not usually a VB fan but the wristlet has been great for the summer and I'm finding it much easier to carry a wristlet than a big ol purse that catches everything. I'll be looking shortly on EBay for another wristlet with darker colors now that summer is over.

We have gotten the best deals during their online sales. It is usually limited patterns but the deals are good. DD and I both got travel bags.

I am lucky to have an outlet about 7 miles from me. That said, you can go to the VB website, and find an item you like and then call an outlet (I think the Orlando one has consistently good prices and variety) keep in mind the non-current patterns are what is there, starting with I would say this past spring. For a flat rate of $8 the outlet should mail your purchase to your house. Just call and tell them what you are looking for. If you do not like it, it can be returned to ANY VB store or outlet, but not to another seller like Hallmark etc who may carry VB.

Well considering they are made and based outta the city I live in, pretty much anywhere around here. Infact, their diaper bags are given away as special gifts by the hospitals after you have a baby. Once a year here, they have a crazy discount sale that you have to buy tickets for. Women elbow, push, and tackle their way in. It is quite crazy. I usually am a Coach girl, but I do have a few Vera Bradleys. They are really durable and, the best part is, if the kids get something on one I can throw it in the washer.
