Where do you buy inkjet ink these days?

Luckily, DH's work provides us with a color laserjet at home & all the supplies to go with it.

However, I need to use our inkjet to print some iron-on tshirt transfers. I haven't used it in almost 2 years. I just turned it on, and it says 3 of the 6 cartridges are empty or near empty. I'm going to check to make sure they aren't clogged or dried up first, but if I need to buy cartridges, where do people buy them these days.

I'm sure mine aren't at Staples any longer.
Its a wide format Canon inkjet i9100 photo printer and takes 6 cartridges.

I've got some other projects coming up that I could make use of replacing the ink. It wouldn't be just for the t-shirts luckily.

Staples does sell them instore still, I would just call and make sure they have them instock or go on the website and look at the check instore availability.

Anyone have any generics they stand behind? The project won't call for an EXACT color match to Canon ink, but something very close would do. Just don't feel like dropping $45 to $90 on ink right now when its not even our main printer. KWIM?
