We always use the Hess right outside the 417 ramp. {across from international drive exit, or Royal Caribe Resort} It is a good 18 miles from airport. But, have never had an issue with national on return. Gas tank always is still beyond full.![]()
From the airport exit off 417 take Boggy Creek Rd south about 1 mile. There's a Circle K/Shell station on the corner of Boggy Creek and 530. It doesn't show up on google maps though, but it's there.
Might try the Hess at the 417 on ramp next time.
This is exit 9 off 528 (Tradeport/Conway)If you "will be driving from Tampa area so we will not be near Dis.", then you will coming up I-4. You may wish to exit at (get onto) SR 528 and go east toward the airport. There is a 7-11 on Tradeport Dr., the last exit before the toll booth right before before the airport.
Exit SR 528 to the right. Stop at the signal and turn left. Go under the highway overpass. You will find the 7-11 on the left corner.
This is exit 9 off 528 (Tradeport/Conway)
When done, go left (north) out of the gas station and get into middle lane (May need to take another left to find the middle lane depending on which side you exited the station)
Required right onto McCoy a block or two later. You're only two miles from the airport and you will then skip the last toll booth.
Does anyone know a gas station close to MCO coming from Cocoa Beach? We could not find one in Jan, we are going again in July so would be nice to know where one is...my dh typical man, will not look and is willing to pay what they charge at the rental company....sorry guys....![]()
If you are driving on SR 528 (The Beachline) exit at Semoran Blvd. north (AKA SR 436) and drive "about" 2-2½ miles north to Hoffner Ave. (SR 15) where is a traffic signal. There is a Mobil station on your left (partially obstructed by trees). Use that one. You may also see two gas stations (on opposite sides of the street) at Butler National Drive. The one on your right side is a "Suncoast Energys" station and I don't know what the one on the left side is. Neither is a major brand of gas station. Do not stop at either! They have the highest prices in the nation. I kid you not. They have been fleecing unsuspecting visitors to Orlando for years.
