where do we get our pics for PAPs done?

We ordered our APs or PAPs (I am not sure) on flex pay and it says on them we have to have pics taken??? Where do we do this. Inside or outside th parks? where? What is the procedure?Thanks!

I'd also like to know if the pic has to be taken immediately after entering, or if it can be done anytime during the first visit.

They will let you thru the turnstile, and then you will go to the left, at a little office just past the restrooms. I believe it's called 'Park relations' or something like that. They will direct you tho, no worries. When I did it last August, it took about 20 minutes, as there were 3 people in front of me. It was so great to get my little photo card back.

I could have come back later to do it, but I was anxious to just get it over with.

Is this available the entire time the park is open? We will be arriving on Friday evening, thought it might be less crowded to get it done in the evening but didn't know if they would be open after 5pm or not.

I think it must be,, I remember seeing people in there when we were leaving the park one evening.

You can get it done anytime you are in the park that first day. You are not allowed re-entry without the photo-id part. At US the photo services are directly through the gates and make a right turn before you hit any buildings. I believe it is called vacation services. At IOA you go through the turnstiles and turn left. It is right beside the locker area.

Ahh, vacation services,, I couldn't remember the name of the office. I had mine done at IOA, and it's vacation services is located on the left side. I never noticed where it was at Universal. Good to know.

Very true ,, but if you went to IOA first,, you would be right on track

I have to mention one thing,, being female, and a bit vain, that is one of the reasons I had my photo done as I was entering IOA, rather than at the end of the evening. I don't hold up well after a day of heat, humidity, the hulk, etc This annual passholder photo had to last me for 2 years with no retakes LOL.

You can wait until the end of the day or whenever you like to get your photo done. However, I don't think the paper "temporary" tickets will work in the ceosks near the attractions. Also, you won't be able to use it to get your discounts of food and stuff.

So the temp tix won't work for express passes?

If you are staying on property that won't be an issue, because you just show your room key for FOTL. But you don't want to get it wet, I don't know about if you can use the temp tik for any of the AP discounts or not tho.
