Hang on tight to your dreams!
Be Persistant.
Be VERY self assured.
Take lots of classes.
Always be learning.
Study people.
:goodvibes

Have you ever watched James Lipton on Bravo..."Inside the Actor's Studio"????
If not you need to start.
I do not have actor inspirations but it is a great show about the actors and how they got there.

As far as acting you need to check out community theaters. They are probably all over.

Good Luck!

A good college with a reputable drama department would be a good choice. Make sure you concentrate on other subjects in school as well, especially your English classes. You will need those as well.

Get as much stage experience as you can. Also, look at commercial and print modeling opportunities in your area, even outside your area. At your age, you will also need a dedicated parent who believes in you.

If you look at some of the backgrounds of some of the teen actors from Nick, that is how they started.

If you don't live in a larger city, find a modeling agency that caters to younger clients in a phone book of your nearest large city and write or call them and ask them what you need to do.

there is a local theater i think my moms be to lazy to drive me and i dont think she will ever let me be in comershals but how do i find out about these such things and i dont think they want ppl with crocked teeth messing comershals up

What about local play house theater?
Do you live near a major city? If so then chances are movies may be shot in your area.
I do work as an extra for movies and it is a lot of fun.
My dd is in 8th grade and I told the next time there is one in our area
we can try and do it together. It is starting at the very bottom, but it does show you how movie productions come together and it can be inspiring, especially being so close to a celebrity.

First of all, you should talk to your Mom about your dreams. You may be surprised at how she reacts if you open up to her about it.
Second of all, not everyone in commercials is perfect. You probably have very nice qualities and not everything is about perfection. Try not to be so hard on yourself.
Third, don't ever let anyone take your dream away. It may take time to accomplish what you want to accomplish, enjoy the things that are going on now in your life the mean time stay focused on your dream.
You can get there if you are patient.

You reached the audience, thats important. It sounds like you are on the right track with your drama class.
Tomorrow my dd get to try out for the Wizard of Oz at her school.
I hope so much that she gets the part that she wants.

Its great that your school offers wonderful opportunities like that.
Keep up the good work.

i was looking I found a cool site with lots of info on how to act and may be if there is any voise overs for my age (not many around here most are for like 16+) but they seem cool

Don't be so excited that you run the risk of having someone take advantage of you. That is why you need a parent or other adult to help you.

Good advice. I was just going to say the same thing.
Let your drama teacher know how much you love acting and see if she could steer you in the right direction as far as taking things to the next level.
You sound like a wonderful girl with big dreams, remember NO dream is ever out of reach. Please be careful, and remember don't ever agree to meet with a stranger. You must keep your Mom or Dad involved or your teacher so they know everything you are planning on doing.
