We haven't been to WDW in almost 3 years due to health problems. In the past I would plan things down to a T. I enjoyed it but now that the kids are older we are homeschooling and I have no time to plan.
Is there such a thing as a someone who asks you a bunch of questions and plans for you?

Google Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.

Hi! :wave2:

Check out Dreams Unlimited Travel.

I am sure that they will be glad to help you plan your vacation for you, they are real Disney Pros! :smickey:

:tinker:

I know this isn't at all what you're asking, but how old are the kids? Could you make the planning an activity with them? Time management, spreadsheets, logistics... sounds like some pretty good stuff for home schooling!

Never pay for someone to plan your Disney vacation!!! Reputable travel agents provide all levels of planning as part of their complimentary service. I second using Dreams Unlimited Travel!

Right, but that is if you already have used them for booking.

It is part of their "complimentary service" because they are being paid by Disney, when they book the trip.

It's still complimentary! Travel agencies have the same pricing as Disney, and sometimes they can get deals that are sold out on Disney's end. The customer isn't paying any additional cost by using an agent. Why does it matter if the agent makes a commission from Disney?

I would do the authorized agents if you can because they handle it all for you. If you are a RET DAV and staying off site like us, unfortunately you can't get it done through their agents and have to do it all on your own or find someone who can help. In this instance, it would be a lot easier for someone else but too many different details for me to trust to anyone else. Let me know if I can offer any advice on do it yourself Disney.

What she's saying is that a TA probably isn't going to take their time to make your itinerary without compensation if you've already booked your trip elsewhere. If you book through them, of course, they are getting paid.

Exactly.

If I've already booked my trip, but simply want someone to plan it for me, a travel agent isn't going to do it for free for me.

dreams unlimited travel is a major reason why this forum is free.. they do as little or as much as you need and it won't come out more than disney would charge (and they might find you savings). worth getting a free quote from them.

This post made me smile because I am SO Disney obsessed that I have been super involved with planning 2 friends Disney trips lately. Do you have any crazy Dosney obsessed friends!??

Using a travel agent that specializes in Disney is your best bet and yes you would book your trip with them of course. If you already booked it elsewhere you can transfer it to them and they'll do all the planning for you.

I'd do it for free! Haha I have several months before I can do any real planning for my Sept 2017 trip

I second the suggestion to turn it into a research project w your kids

Budget for your trip- Math
Planning out rides and activities, map skills, geography
put together booklets on the various countries in Epcot- Social Studies/language arts
research the animals at AK- science
research temperature/weather changes over a period of time- science
research hydroponics- science
learn various songs from around WDW- music ed
