Where do get car rental for one day near DL?

My DH and I are going to be there for 5 days at the end of October and were thinking of maybe renting a car for one day to see some sites, maybe the beach. Is there somewhere near HoJo's to rent a car? Is this a smart decision for us country bumpkins? Or would just taking a tour bus be a wiser choice?

There is an Alamo rental office in DTD, near the GCH. And I think it is enterprise that will deliver your car and pick it up at your hotel.

Also a National rental car agency on Katella west of Harbor, between the 7-11 and the Alpine Inn.

There is an Enterprise at Katella and Clementine.

There's an Avis on Katella, right around the corner. I know that when you drop off your rental car they will drive you back to your hotel free of charge. not sure what's the best way to get to the rental car place though.

Just keep in mind that some of these places are small operations and are not open late hours. So, if you want to keep the car until late into the evening, make sure they are open for you to return it (or plan to return it the next day).

The Alamo in DTD is actually near DLH and faces the Dreams Tower, right around the corner from Compass Books.
