Where did you stay for your PS?

I'm in the process of booking our PS for September and with the 40% off pin code I am having lots of fun trying to figure out what resort to stay at! I've stayed at AKL, BLT, CSR, and SSR and would like to try something different!

I'm debating whether or not I want to be closer to the GF (for the WP) or Epcot or if I want to save $$ and stay at Pop! Or do Epcot brides even do their tastings at Epcot? I'm lost here

So where did you stay for your PS? Or where are you planning on staying? Or what's your favorite resort?

I have stayed at many resorts...it helps being a native and a sister who works for the company. I enjoyed Polynesian resort which is also next to the wedding pavilion. It just depends on the atmosphere you are looking for. Let me know if you have any questions about any of the resorts.

We were going to stay at Yacht Club... but then we bought a house, so we thought it might be better to save some money. We ended up staying at CBR and I really liked it. And for the PS, it's really only one day, so you don't need to stay near Franck's. We took the bus from CBR to MK and then took the Monorail to the GF. We were going to take the boat but it was too cold that morning. It was really easy getting to and from Franck's so I really wouldn't worry about that at all.

Our favorite resort is the Grand Floridian, and if I really wanted to splurge I'd stay there or at one of the Epcot resorts since I've never stayed in that area before.

We are having a telephone PS, but we always say if we win the lottery before then, we'll fly out to taste the cake and stay at the Poly as we've booked the GF for the wedding.

I'm here right now, my PS was yesterday - I'm staying on DVC points in a Savannah View Studio at AKV (Jambo). Love it!

Since we drive to WDW it really doesn't matter to us where we stay.
We can always either opt for Disney transportation or to drive over to Franck's.

For our site visit we stayed at AKL, this time for our PS I think we will probably opt for something way more economic and stay at Pop, just because we go way too often and it makes more money sense. Plus, it is our favorite value and in our room block for the VR.

We are actually heading to our planning session vacation on Jun 30th-July 6th and we will be staying at Old Key West in a 2bedroom villa (we are DVC members)...it has basicly the space we need as my parents and my mother-in-law will be joining us.

We stayed at the Pop for our PS last May and we loved it. We were there for 5 days, and we needed to go on the cheap. The Pop was uber fun! I have a ton of pictures in my old planning journal... the link is around here somewhere!

PS=Planning Session

When you have a wishes wedding, you get a planning session with your planner to go over your menu, cake, flowers, etc.

If anyone is looking to save money for there PS there are also the hotels in Down Town Disney who quite often run specials but still have transportation to the parks and tickets and transportation center.

Also check out the DVC section on the Disboards as you can work to "lease" someones points who will not be using them.

We are splurging to stay at the Poly in July for our PS. This is our first vacation without other couples and we have never stayed in a deluxe resort so we figured we would go all out.
