very late to the report but wanted to say hi before i got all caught up, love the first few installments, off to read more
wow katie! Great update! you got some really beautiful pics of those fireworks! And I just love MK at night, so beautiful! sorry to hear about that kid in your log...sad to hear the mother wasn't handling it very well. anyway, sounds like you two had an awesome night at MK, can't wait to see breakfast!
What a great ending to your second day at Disney -- seeing the fireworks and riding all those rides during EMH!
I am a little stunned by the kid throwing up in the log! I have never heard of that happening!![]()
Lucky you. You got to see the fireworks on the way. Loved the pics. To bad for the poor kid and don't know what the mom was thinking to make him go on.
What a wonderful way to end your evening!
Those sidewalk drawings(?) they do are so amazing!
What an awesome way to end the dayI loved seeing a couple of Splash Mountain pics because it was closed when we were there. I miss it!
Kailyn and I also squeezed into one of those cars on Astro Orbiter. I still don't know how because they are tiny!
I've got to try MK EMHs sometime, sounds like a great night! Well great except for the little boy throwing up in your log![]()
My friend and I crammed ourselves into one rocket on Astro Orbitor once as well - it was quite comical!![]()
Sounds like your EMH was great as well! Pity about the up-chuck in the wood-chuck; but at least it wasn't front-chuck over you or Shelby!
I had a big ol' chuckle about the two of you in Astro Orbiters. What was that kid thinking? I had trouble with me and DS in the same carriage - and he's 9!!
What a great night! At least the little boy aimed downward... that coulda been really gross. I feel sorry for him too with his mom yelling at him. I'm sure he didn't *want* to do that!
The boat looks like a cool vantage point for the fireworks! Looks like you got a lot done that night with minimal crowds!!
Breakfast in only 8 hours?!
Funny thing was when I was full from a meal I would take the dessert and water back to the room and stick it in the fridge. I think by the last day I was using water to make coffee in the room to help get rid of it.That and cake for breakfast.

I think I tried to ride with both of my kids years ago and had a hard time getting in. It must have been both because my Dh can't ride spinning things and they were small so I guess we had no choice.
When I went with 2 friends last NYE and somehow we all squeezed into 1 doom buggy.
I think 2 of commented on sitting on 1 "cheek" the whole ride.
I think the CM was chuckling to himself when he made the suggestion of 1 doom buggy.
What a fun evening!
Just two little girls playing the night away!
I look forward to seeing the yummy breakfast coming up.
Hey!
Just want to introduce myself first. I'm Beth, I've been on the DIS for a while, but it's only recently that I've decided to check out the TR boards...I know, where have I been?!?
This is like only the 3rd TR I've read - I just caught up with all your entries and also with the chatter. It's nice, you have lots of lovely "fans"
I'm loving your TR - it's brilliant!! Keeps me sane while being all these miles away from WDW.
I look forward to more updates! Yum!

What a fun night! Sounds like you girls had a blast! And what an extra treat being able to see Wishes. Sorry about the happenings in the log...so gross! But at least it wasn't on you! Can't wait to hear about breakfast!
Great updates Katie!!!!! You girls sure had a great night at MK!!!! Tell me, is the horse with the golden ribbon on it supposed to be Cindy's?!?!?!?!
I'm not Katie but, yes, the horse with the golden ribbon is Cinderella's horse.
Katie: I LOVE the photo from Space Mountain! That little boy is going all gangsta and the girl is smiling like a beauty queen.![]()

What a fun way to end the night! I had to giggle at your plans to close the park after originally not wanting to. Doesn't time fly by when you are in Disney?? Great update!
Katie, what a great way to end the day. I love the MK EMH's in the evening. I feel bad for that poor little boy; I don't know why parents insist on making their child do something they don't want to do. And your photos of the castle/fireworks and the castle and Walt with Mickey...well, all of your photos, are terrific.
very late to the report but wanted to say hi before i got all caught up, love the first few installments, off to read more
Great update!! I admire your stamina to stay so late after such a long day!!
That poor little guy-- I'll never understand why a parent would force a kid on a ride. I can see encouraging them if they seem nervous, but to make a kid whom clearly has nerve issues is just mean!
Katie -
Great updates starting with your dinner at AP. I think that is my all time favorite restaurant. Denny and I had such a wonderful meal there last Sept and the customer service was bar none.
You had an awesomely full 2nd dark. Wow - you did not let up for a minute! EMH was crazy that night. We felt the same way when we were trying to enter the park.
Oh - that poor little boy who puked on Splash. That is so sad. He must have had the crap scared out of him going down the big drop. Yeah mom for forcing him to go on. that will be one of his better childhood memories!
If you love the WL then the next time you go to Disney make sure you take the lodge tour which is offered most mornings at 9am. It was excellent and even better because its free. I will write about it in my TR. I took it on the last day!
Looks like you two had a lot of fun at EMH. Poor kid that was forced to ride. I bet his mom will never force him to ride again.
Great pics of Wishes from the boat!
It's amazing how much the park emptied out for EMH!
Ew about the vomit; hope that mom didn't drag her kid on anymore rides he didn't want to do!
Can't wait to hear about your breakfast!
