Where can you see Illuminations at from the POP?

We leave in 18 days for WDW and are staying at the POP. I have requested the 70's building but I thought I had read somewhere where you can see Illuminations at Epcot from somewhere at the POP. I would like to walk to that part of the resort to see it but where is it? Do you have to be on an upper floor or can you see it from the ground?

We were in 50's building B. From the back side (not the pool side) on the right wing, third floor, we could see Illuminations every night. When the wind was right you could even hear some of the music. That was in December and they were doing the holiday edition and the last blast was so loud that car alarms went off every night in nearby parking lots! Truly, being able to walk out of our room and watch Illuminations was one of the highlights of our trip for me. It never gets old.
