I have so many photo prints..so many! Is there any where I can order a huge amout and not have to take a loan out?

I am really into scrapbooking. I order from Snapfish not necessarily because they are the cheapest but because they have the best quality in my opinion. I usually order a block of 250 prints for $20. If I don't use them up at one printing, the credit stays on my account.

About a year back I ordered 10 of the same prints from various places to compare quality. I did a variety of pics, underwater, outdoors, action, inside low light, etc and overall Snapfish seemed to have the best quality.

Snapfish has a special right now...300 prints for $29 including shipping. If you use ebates, you can get 10% back.

Shutterfly has prepaid plans that gets the price down to 0.09 per print if you prepay for 600 ($54). They also have an annual plan that gives you a 30% discount off prints and right now there's a free shipping code on their sight for orders over $39.

The shipping with both places adds up quickly so you kind of have to play around with it a bit.

If you are a member of Costco, I hear they do a great job with pictures.

I'll go against the first 2 responses and say don't waste your money with Snapfish. They have horrid quality. When I was looking for a printer, I sent for free prints to 3 or 4 places. Sent the same couple of pictures and printed in color and black and white on the various papers available.

Adorama came out on top, fantastic quality. Snapfish looked like I used an old flip phone camera and sent them to be printed. They were horribly pixelated and the colors were all wrong (I process photos on a calibrated screen.)

For pictures, there's a good reason not to go with the crappy $0.09/print stuff like Snapfish or Walmart.

Someone at work printed one of my pictures at Snapfish (he really shouldn't have done that) in 8x10 and I reprinted on the color lazerjet on regular paper at work for him and the lazerjet on regular paper was a better print.

If you're looking for any quality at all, do yourself a favor and go with a real photography printer like Adorama or MPix. It's not worth saving $0.05/print for such sub-par quality. I won't even take the 20 free prints Snapfish keeps sending me offers for to get me to use them.

I've read lots of comparison reviews and Mpix tend to come out ahead of the game for quality, but you gat what you pay for so it is a bit higher in price. In my opinion, shipping is what really jacks up the price, so a free shipping offer is a good thing to find. It might not be a bad idea to check out a few local place in you area with high quality equipment. Local typically provides the best customer service and saves on shipping.

Count another vote for Snapfish or WalMart (they are actually the same place). I scrapbook a lot and for the price, they can't be beat. Now, if I was going to enlarge a favorite photo, I might go elsewhere but for printing out 4X6's to put in an album, I get them done either place. Sometimes, Snapfish will have penny prints and that is when I will print a bunch. Like others have said, the shipping is a killer so you need to find either a deal for the prints or shipping.

Artscow is 8 cents a print. I think that they have free shipping now. If you search online you may fnd other codes as well. It seems like I get an email from them at least once a week with a special offer code.

I've ordered quite a few things from them and have never had a problem. They are overseas so shipping can be a little longer.
