Where can you get plastic tickets?

I think I've seen them at The Disney Store, Target, Safeway, Lucky Supermarket, Walgreens, most of the places that have large gift card displays.

Are the plastic cards that you get at say Safeway for a multi day park hopper the actual ticket once activated or are is the card you purchase just like a voucher and they print your actual paper ticket at the gate?...I always though they were just vouchers.

No, they are usually the actual ticket, and look similar to an annual pass.
