Where can we have dinner outside the parks, but close to US/IOA

We will be in US/IOA from 2/5 - 2/14 --- we are renting a car on Sunday2/7 to go to Kennedy Space Center
(we are renting the car from Hertz at RoyalPacific Hotel) -- we thought about eating dinner on the way back from Kennedy, outside the parks, before returning the car. Just wondering if you all can recommend a good restaurant for us. We'd like it to be on the route from Kennedy back to the parks, we don't really want to drive all over Orlando. Are there any good restaurants near the parks. We will be eating all other nights in the parks and CityWalk. Thanks.

Plenty of good restaurants in IDrive.......couple of new places at the Orlando Eye......The Sugar Factory and Yard House is excellent.......nice atmosphere and good food.

Plenty of normal choices like Red Lobster, Longhorn although we thought that Longhorn was truly awful, joes Crab Shack, Bahama Breeze and a million more...........

5 minutes away is one of the best.....Teak Neighbourhood Grill.......it's in the Metro West area and it really only is a short drive from Universal.

You could also try Jakes at RPR or Islands.......both are excellent since you are already returning the car there anyway.

I'd also add Hash House a Go-Go to the list of possibilities...
