Where can we get GF Mickey waffles?

It's become part of DS's script. He's obsessing over it. So, we absolutely must have GF Mickey waffles on our first morning. There is absolutely no other option. He is actually cracking me up about it because he must think these things are personally made by Mickey Mouse just for him. :)

I was hoping to go to AK on our first morning. Any chance Tusker House has them? Or is it just the actual resorts?

Thanks!

Yes, Tusker House does have GF Mickey waffles. I think that the only other park restaurant that has them is Hollywood & Vine though I'm not positive that they do. Resort TS restaurants (at least the Disney owned ones) that serve breakfast all have them as well I believe. CSR restaurants are not Disney owned (CS or TS) and some of the ones at the Boardwalk as well as all the ones at Swalphin are not Disney owned. For CS, the value and moderate resorts with the exception of CSR can all make GF Mickey waffles as can the non-Crescent Lake/Epcot area deluxe resorts.

We have had the GF Mickey waffles at Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, Roaring Forks(quick service at Wilderness Lodge) and the food court at Port Orleans Riverside! Hope that helps!

No for Hollywood and Vine, but yes Tusker house has them and I remember them being particularly good there.

Thanks so much for all the information! I have all these ADRs set up, but I'm worried about the GF dining. I completely understand that menus and manufactures change, but it's just hard to plan when I don't know if there are still GF items available. I'll definitely be emailing the special diets closer to our trip. I want to get the most up-to-date list as possible. I'll still be asking at restaurants no matter what.

Disney is the easiest place we have ever been for gf. Both DD are gf. 3 trips, no issues. Very safe place. All ts and cs have manager or chef to talk to to insure safe gf food. Any other foods child interested in?

The types of things that change are the brands, not the types of products. Over the past 5 years they've always had gluten free hamburger buns available at a variety of locations but they've had 3 different brands that I can think of in that time. If you're only gluten free then it's really not an issue since they seem to really cater to gluten free specifically. The difficulties happen when you've got multiple allergies/intolerances and/or non-top 8 allergies or even a different top 8 but you aren't used to gluten free. The locations that typically carry certain types of products seem to also not change.

You'll be very well taken care of.
