Where can vegetarians eat at AK?

Does anyone have any suggestions about where we can eat at AK for the day? My DS, DIL, and DGD are vegetarians and we are all going for early entry Oct 1 and it will be our only day at the park. I love Tuskers but it will be closed by then. Vegetarians get pretty tired being told to have a salad - they need protein too! Does anyone have a suggestion? If we were at MK with this problem we could grab the monorail over to Konas or something. Just can't figure what to do at AK....

Well, there's Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus has a veggie burger, but I've never tried either. For TS, there's Rainforest Cafe. But I'd just eat a small lunch and pig out at Boma at AKL for dinner.

Thanks, we are definitely going to pig out that evening - Boma will see us our first evening. Plan to go to California Grill that night after DGD's nap.

Has anyone tried the Pizza place? Do they have anything special for veggies? I would rather not go to Rainforest - want to maximize the time DGD has awake....

Since Flame tree only seems to have a fruit plate (No wonder why I am always starving, someone needs to tell these people vegetarians eat more than salads and fruit!) I will be doing the cheese pizza at Pizzafari. Or the veggie burger at rainforest cafe if we want to take the time.

It is sad that the AK has such few choices for vegetarians, they could really promote an earth friendly meal here if they wanted to.

Absolutely agree. That is why I mourn Tuskers so much! They offer the kids a better selection than the adults!
