Where can I watch Wimbledon this year @ WDW?

Ok, so my family and I are big tennis fans and turns out we will be in DisneyWorld from 24th June for the 2 weeks that Wimbledon is on.

Now, usually we'd be watching it here in Dublin. But there's gonna be a considerable time difference this year.

Can anyone tell me or recommend some places to watch the Wimbledon Championships this year, around the Lake Buena Vista Area or on the Disney property. I'd rather not have to travel to International Drive, although I can imagine there will be places showing it if there are a lot of UK tourists and Andy Murray is playing lol.

I just wanna see my Federer and Rafa and I'll be happy. Then again, as long as I get to watch the tennis I don't really mind.

Hopefully someone can help me out!
Thanks

Emma

DW was looking forward to keeping up with the tennis last year but we found coverage very limited.

Thankfully there is an iPhone app which was good at keeping up with scores whenever we had wifi access :)

espn at the boardwalk will have it and its only a 5 minute walk from world showcase at epcot and maybe a 20 minute walk/10 minute boat ride from hollywood studios.

ESPN definitely show it ?
We are staying across from DTD, hope somewhere there shows it too.

kinda reluctant to watch it on Disney property for fear of higher drinks prices. but if its all thats available then we'll just have to stick with it

Maybe somewhere like Millers Ale House at LBV will show it if you ask them to! And they also have good drinks prices :thumbsup2

It's not at a hotel, it's at Lake Buena Vista but not entirely sure where abouts as we usually go to the International Drive one! I'm sure someone will be able to tell you exactly where it is :goodvibes

Can't help with where to watch - but just giving a cheer for tennis fans!:cool1:

We will be out there for the US Open which generally gets good coverage (much to DDs distress)

I was pleased to see that ITV have the coverage of the French this year - we only have Sky Sports to watch the tennis - We have sky Go on the ipad - but like BBC iplayer, I am not sure if this is restricted when trying to view outside the UK.

Even off site? :) (Thanks for the info!)
NBC is one of the major television networks and is available at any establishment in the area that has basic cable service. NBC will most likely show the weekend matches as they have in the past. Other networks will handle the weekday matches which may be a bit harder to find depending on who's showing what. The USTA website has not updated the schedule as of yet so stayed tuned.

^^^ thank you so much for that info. I'll keep an eye out for which stations will be handling which matches .

thanks again
