Where can I park my motorhome while I wait to check in

Hello all, brand new to this forum. We are heading to WDW in February with the motorhome and I am wondering about the most effective use of day one. If I purchase a vacation package through Disney on line including a campsite at FW and 7 day Magic Your Way Park Hopper tickets, do I get the tickets in the mail prior to check in? If we want to visit the park on day one prior to check in at FW, where can I park the RV before check in? Do I have to park it in a theme park parking lot and pay the additional parking fee that day? Probably a silly question to you veteran FW visitors but this will really help me plan on a strategy! Thanks so much for any responses!!

I don't know when you plan to arrive (time of day), but it doesn't really take long to check in. After check in, if your site is not ready, you can park in the overflow lot near the entrance and go about your merry way. You will be contacted when your site is ready, but you can go ahead and go to a park if you wish and move into your site when you return. By completing your checkin earlier, you will have the parking permit(s) for your vehicle(s) and can either drive to the park or use WDW busses. You will likely have a better choice of sites before the place fills up.

Thanks for the quick reply Retired and Happy!! So I guess my next question is how early can I go check in and park in the overflow? If I show up at 9:00AM am I too early for that? Thanks again!

Someone said you can check-in anytime after 6:00 AM, but I have checked in earlier than that. 9:00 AM is no problem. Check-in, get your tickets, catch a bus to a park and come back later to set up in your campsite.
