I have about 15 slides I would like to get prints from and then get rid of the slides. But I can't find anyplace that does that anymore. CVS said it would be about $5 per slide:scared1:. There has to be some photo places around that still do this. I tried to use my scanner on them but they come out all blurry.

They will do it for 37 cents a slide... but I would recommend you pay for the pro level scanning that will raise the price to 62 cents a slide, but will give you 4,000dpi scans instead of the 2000dpi scans for the normal service.

Your other options are to invest in a special slide scanner and do it yourself, it really depends on how man you plan on scanning.

Snapfish has a slide scanning service too (.29/slide) and I was going to do it for my mom for Christmas (she has several thousand slides spanning from the time they met in 1955 until 1980 ) but then I found out the shipping charge ($20 each way) so I looked to see where the photos were going - India :scared1: I couldn't let those precious memories of me :rolleyes1 go that far without a 100% guarantee that I'd get them back.

I'd check your local photo shop also, ours does it for about $1/slide if I didn't have so many slides to scan I'd take them there or CVS. Instead I bought a scanner from Amazon. Costco also sells one.
