Does anyone know where I can get showtimes for May 17th?? We are leaving in a few days and we are going there on our first day in orlando. Thanks

Here is the link to the show schedule on the SW site. You will need to input the date of your visit!

Be sure to see the new Believe Show. We also love Clyde and Seamore and Blue Horizons!

Enjoy. DD9 and I are passholders and we love SW.

(PS we are PA natives from Lansdale, living in Orlando 3 years!)

Thanks!! So we were neighbors at one time - we live in Philly hoping to move to Bucks County. Wish I could move to Florida!! I love it there - so beautiful and people are laid back not in a hurry like around here. Thanks again!

Hi!
Can you realistically see all of these in one day?
How long do the shows last?

Thanks,
lynn

I have never done all of the shows in one day, but I would think it would be difficult, but with planning maybe. I live locally, and have never needed so see all the shows, as most time if we have guests we spend parts of two days.

I don't know if you would want to spend all the time just going to the shows, as there are rides (roller coaster and water flume type ride), and other exhibits that are totally worth seeing. I like taking SW at a leisurely pace! You can also feed sea lions (which for us is a must and we spend 1/2 hr or more just watching them) The Sky Tower is a cool way to spend a few minutes - you get to see an aerial view of the park and Orlando area.

You need to get to the shows 30-60 min early during busy times - so that eats up time. They are also spread out across the park, so if you are at Shamu Stadium, and the next show you want to see is Blue Horizion it is on the other side of the park (for real - the other side of the park).

Shamu Believe - not sure of the time - since the show is new - old show was 30 min I believe

From the park map here are the other times
Clyde & Seamore - 30 min
Blue Horizions - 30 min
Pets Ahoy - 25 min
Odyssea - 30 min
Fusion - 20 min

The way the shows are scheduled and the fact that you need to get to some of them at least 30 minutes in advance to get a decent seat (or in the case of the dolphin show, into the show at all), I think it would be very difficult to see all the shows in one day.

If you are a first time visitor, it could be more difficult because Sea World isn't laid out like a Disney park. It has no central point (like the hub in front of the castle at the Magic Kingdom, the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdon, the Chinese Theater at MGM, or Spaceship Earth at Epcot) so the paths meander about. Signs are plentiful but they dont always point you in to the effiicient route to get to an attraction and only list shows and attractions (not restrooms, shops or food), a map is a must as a result.

Showtimes are always subject to change and depend on what hours the park is open. They will add shows if size of the crowd is making getting into shows difficult, too. It is definitely easier to see them all in the summer when the park has longer hours. You do have to be there at opening and stay till closing. You have to plan meals for times when there aren't long lines for food.
If you do all the shows, it does not leave a lot of time to just enjoy the park, walk through all the shops, feed the various animals that you can, or just stand in the underwater areas of Wild Arctic, the whales, or the dolphins just to enjoy them.

As for the parks not being laid out like Disney parks, they are basically still built in a circle. The difference is that at Sea world there are more paths that intersect the circle so you can cut across to a different area without walking all the way around the park like you have to do at Disney parks. And of course when you add a path than you can add some things to do in each section of the park. Sometimes it makes it confusing to someone who hasn't been there, but it is pretty easy once you get used to it.

We had a great day and managed to do "everything"... we saw all the animals and all the shows ,except one (by the hose place)
So we really had a good day.It wasnt busy and we got into all shows first time, getting there 1/2 hour before (thanks for this advice)
The best was Pets Ahoy...absolutely brilliant!!!

We watched the rehearsal for new Shamu show and it was great fun.The chanting with Samu was the best part

A great day,
Lynn :cool1:
