Where can I get an annual pass?

Online, disney store, or at the parks itself? We are going October 2-7 by ourselves and we plan on taking the kids for the first time May 2006. We are thinking that 1 10 day pass and an annual would be a good bet. We can take advantage of the DDE and some other discounts on special tours. We can use the extra 5 days on the 10 day pass in May. Do I need to wait to buy an annual at the park or will they send me a certificate of some sort. I don't want the annual to start until I'm actually there. Thanks!

Either online or at the park itself. You cannot purchase APs at the Disney Store. If you want to purchase before you go, simply go online and purchase your pass. We select the "will call" option and pick up the pass at the park window when we arrive. Having said that, you can and probably should just buy the pass when you arrive at your first park / ticket window/guest relations. It's simpler that way and its one less thing to worry about pre-travel.

unless something has changed recently you can get the voucher at the local disney store as that's what we did...call ahead to make sure they have them in stock( our store didn't stock that many and did have them but she said if they didn't they would get them)
