Where can I find/what's the best type of shirt to use for making a t-shirt w/transfer

I've got a great image (thanks to a fellow DISer) to use for my daughter's 10th birthday at MK. I can't find a shirt to transfer it on to. Has anyone purchased these online? I looked at Wal Mart and Michael's the other day and couldn't find anything and with having to drag along four kids, it would probably be easier to just order something online (but I will go to a store if I know where to find them). I'd prefer a tank top so she won't be so hot. I did find a tank with ridges in it but I assume that wouldn't work well with trying to get a transfer on to it? TIA.

i think that if your daughter is turning 10, then you are about a year behind in updating your signature (hehehe)

i buy a lot from amazon.com and they ship rather quickly - they are tied in with target.com and many other stores - i would do a search on there and im sure you can find something you like

Shirt Blanks

Go to google and do a search for tshirt or shirt blanks. You'll get a whole list of places. I have not purchased from the above link; I just used it as an example form the list. A lot of craft sites will sell blanks also. I used to have a great site but lost the bookmark when I switched computers.

Dizney-cruiser, you are right! I am way behind in my signature. Matthew actually turns 6 today and the twins turn four on Monday so I think I am long overdue for an update.

AC Moore has blank tee shirts. I just bought two white ones to make my parents shirst for our upcoming trip. They come in many colors. Only $2.74 on sale.

I always get the plain white tshirts from michales, usually 2/$5 on sale. Can't beat a $2.50 shirt! I know it's not a tank top though. I'd check walmart, target or kmart for plan tank tops w/o ribs.
