Where can I find Loco Moco?

Where can I find Loco Moco other than Kona Cafe. DD loved it there but now it's plant based. Not sure what that will taste like. Where else in WDW can I find Loco Moco. She loves it.

We would like to make it at home but can't find WDW Kona Cafe original Loco Moco recipe. Anyone have it? or copycat recipe.

Since they still have sausage and eggs on the menu - if those 2 plant based products weird you out, have you thought about ordering the plant-based loco moco but asking for the "real" thing subs? No idea if they'd do it in Covid, but it's possible b/c they still have the normal 2 ingredients as servable...

Now, other parts of the plant-based loco moco might not be swappable and might taste a little different, but it may help...

PS - It might cost more, too, b/c this would probably price as the "2 eggs any style" with sausage and the home fries swapped for the rice side...

Kona will make you the “real” loco moco if you ask! At least they did in January

They also have the real loco moco. Just ask your server. I did this last month. No problem.

Easily done. Its simply a cup or cooked rice, a cooked hamburger patty, an egg cooked as you like all stacked up with a bit of gravy on it.

The gravy was a bit different then regular gravy. Think spicier.
I'll give it a shot and see what my DD thinks.

Kona uses Chorizo in the gravy. There are many recipes on Pinterest, so you can probably find one to your liking there. We just had the regular Loco Moco last week as well as the Big Kahuna, both are NOT listed on the menu but are available just ask. We found many TS restaurants had more than what was listed on the QR menu. Just ask if the server forgets to tell you.
