... the fake Disneyland in Japan? lol

This was on the boards a LONG time ago about a guy who went to this eerie park in Japan that was VERY Disneylike..but it was run down on the inside, and had very strange stuff in it like the rusted stairway to nowhere.

Can someone please post the link to this? I gotta show my dh.

It is a trip report about Nara Dreamland in Japan. This place looks so creepy yet cool. Good setting for a Twilight Zone episode. It really made me wonder, what were they thinking when they built this place?

That was very odd and amusing, but unfortunately it kinda reminded me of the former Tomorrowland Skyway platform. And the weird purple spider ride surrounded by patio tables in a sea of asphalt reminded me of Triceratop Spin in Dinoland!
I think my personal favorite ride would be the slide made out of wood. I must remember to wear some extra padding on that one!
