I saw a cute post a while ago with pictures of kids in clothes with disney appliques on them and really wanted to find a few to put onto DD's jeans for our trip this winter. All the ones I saw at JoAnn's were kinda small and i want a decent size Mickey or Minnie for the front of her overalls.

Thanks for any ideas,
Margaux

I have seen them at Hobby Lobby, but I am not sure how large they were...maybe 4 inches tall or so.

Ebay. I've found nearly any character I've searched for; then again, I give myself at least 2 weeks to search. Good luck! :Pinkbounc

I just bought a large applique of Cinderella from this store on ebay http://stores.ebay.com/Awesome-Appliques she made it from fabric that had the picture on it then added fusable webbing (or whatever it is called). I am just not talented enough to do it myself. I actually picked one that she was selling as a panel and emailed her to see if she could make it into an applique and if she did what was the size and cost. She made it for me special. I received it in no time! Now I am 8 days out and still haven't made it  but I plan to soon! Good luck finding what you need!

I think the one lady in that post said she made her own appliques. I would try to find that post and read what she said. I thought she said that she just found fabric at the craft stores of the big characters that she wanted to use and then she cut the characters out of the fabric, put some kind of sticky stuff on the back and then sewed them on. I am not a seamstress and don't know the correct words.

You are and you can make them!! WalMart or any craft store sells the stuff you need.

Just buy the fabrics ask for fusable web.(2 sticky-sides).
Simply rough cut picture/applique out, place on the fusable web, pin, cut it the rest of the way. You have your iron-on! It's good to tack it on the edges to make it last longer. (Mother-daughter stuff ) ;) I think I'm going to do this myself...Thanks for the boost!
