Where can I buy travel size shampoo, toothpaste etc the cheapest?

I have the little 3-1-1 bottles that I bought at Target that I just refill every trip for shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. For face cream, I actually put that and eye cream into contact lens holder - one on each side.
Be sure to label everything with a sharpie and you'll be good to go.

I even have a little refillable bottle for contact lense cleaner - I just refill that bottle from my big one instead of bothering with bringing the big container each trip.

About the only things I buy travel size now are styling mouse for my hair, hair spray and toothpaste. I even put liquid makeup base into a refillable bottle when I know I'll be using it which isn't often so it doesn't travel with me much.

I go the Meijer route when they are buy $10/get 11th free mix and match.
Kroger is another option, I had an online coupon for .50 off any travel item in my online coupons not long ago.

I also check for clearance. Kroger had mini Scope mouthwash marked to .24 earlier this year. I bought a bunch to cover our trips.

Target sometimes has their travel size stuff on sale and also I have seen a buy 3 get 1 free deal. I also go to Harmon's as they take Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, so I use my $5 off $15 purchase there. Some of it also comes down to what brands you want. I have had allergic reactions to beauty products so I always pick out travel size items that I know I can use vs what is cheapest. Also I find those refillable sets are problematic, with most I never get all the product out and they are messy to refill so I stick with buying new.

If you have an IKEA nearby, they have really good-quality travel bottles that are in packs of 4 for $1, with each bottle a different color. The bottles have a square profile, so they pack with no wasted space. I always use these to refill from my regular bottles.

Recently Colgate has started selling 100ml toothpaste tubes for about $1 at Target and WalMart. These are the maximum size allowed by the TSA, and last quite a long time.

I use vaseline instead of lip balm. I have found that Rite Aid is the only place which sells a tube (happens to be generic) that is small enough to fit in the 3-1-1 ziploc bag for carry-on.

Crest toothpaste in the small size is pretty easy to find.

I buy small empty bottles and fill them with shampoo and conditioner from the bottles I use at home. I throw them out when I leave the hotel. Not good for the environment, but I have allergies and can't use just any brand. I never see my brand for sale in small bottles.

Same regarding moisturizer - I buy the empty small jars and fill them from the jar I use at home. I bring those home with me. If there's a problem with my flight, I might want to wash my face. I don't bring the shampoo and conditioner home, because I can go one night without washing my hair if necessary.

Before the trip, I save a bar of soap before it is all used up. I keep that in my carry-on bag (again, if there's a problem with my flight, I might want to wash my face).

They make travel size contact lens cleaner, much easier than trying to mess around with a refillable bottle or bringing a huge bottle.

For shampoo/conditioner, I use refillable bottles, but for lotion and body wash, I use the travel size bottles from Bath and Body Works and refill as needed from my stash at home.

Haha. In our office they are free. Many of us travel (I travel 2 weeks out of the month, sometimes more). We always take all the freebies from the hotel and bring back to office. These are then donated to AVDA. we have had some employees dip into these baskets when traveling. They replace them when they return.

I love the IKEA travel bottles. I always buy a few sets and have given to many and they love them too. I have used and refilled for years and they are very durable.
I like that I can use the products that work best instead of whatever basic stuff Target or Walmart has.

I reuse the travel sizes I got at the salon around the holidays. Well except the time I grabbed two white bottles instead of one white cap and one orange cap grrrrr 2 conditioner no shampoo

I either bring my big bottle of contact lens solution or buy a small one. I worry about reusing them and contamination. It's my eyes so better safe than sorry

I have all the Lancôme freebies for face stuff for travel. Comes in handy

Does anyone know where I can buy travel toothpaste and shampoo and soaps for cheap? Thanks.

Something not asked is do you need a lot of them for some project. I doubt saving a pennies on personal produces amounts to much when you travel.

I have just bought the refillable TSA approved 3oz bottles to fill with my own lotion, conditioner, shampoo. Usually the travel size items are not products that i care for. These bottles are easy to find at dollar store and walmart.
