Where can I buy a tray of Chocolate Covered Strawberries?

Okay my mouth waters everytime I hear about those tuxedo jacketed strawberries.

We are taking the Illumination's cruise on Wednesday 9-17, with a group of DISboaders, leaving from the Yacht Club Marina. Is there somewhere nearby that I might purchase a tray of these delectables to take on the cruise?

Or can I call the Illuminations reservations and have them ordered?

You more experienced DISboarders know everything! And I really appreciate your help.

I know of two spots for them. They sell them at DTD West End @ Disney Candy Cauldron and also at MGM/Studios on Sunset Blvd. It's called Villains something. Can anyone help with the name?

You might want to check with the YC, too. Maybe they would have some that you can buy. (I'm pretty sure you can buy them at GF, so maybe the YC would do this, too.) I also think there is somewhere on the Boardwalk that sells candy - maybe they would sell them? (I don't think it's the Boardwalk Bakery, but it might be.)

I love chocolate covered strawberries, too!

I believe it is called the Villains Cauldron.

I know for a fact that you can request the GF Baker to prepare them for you and they'll even have them waiting for you at a designated spot to watch Illuminations.

The GF Baker is EVER so nice - he had a plate of the strawberries waiting for me in my room every night. And on my last night - he made me a 6-foot high Eiffel Tower made entirely of chocolate!

Between you and me (and everyone else who reads this), I'm allergic to chocolate - it gives me migraines. But I didn't have the heart to tell him.

What happened to all the goodies he graciously bestowed upon me - I gave some to the cast members who had been so kind and others to some families I met. As for the Eiffel Tower, I had it sent to the local Children's Hospital.

So just ask and you shall receive!:)

Thanks, I think I just call the reservation center and see what they can do for me. I am staying on property but at one of the AllStars, I'll see how the magic works for a Budgeteer!

And if that doesn't work then I'll call the Concierge at the BW.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Just an update, you can arrange these through 1-407-WWD-Play the reservation number, but they are quite expensive. A tray serving four adults is $50.00, each additional person is $12.50, so a tray for an entire boat of 10 adults would be $125.00.

A little too expensive for me to surprize my fellow DISboarders! I'll have to come up with something else.

Oh an you need to order 5 days in advance.
