It doesn't seem like any other online places carry LV bags, just all other designers. I've only seen them on eluxury.com, but I was looking to compare prices with other sites. I just can't find ANY. Does anyone else know some?

That's just it. Eluxury is the only authorized site to sell authentic LV products. Other than personally going into a LV store.....

I will 100% guarantee that if you find a site that says they sell LV items, they WILL be fake or second-hand (sold as new).

When buying authentic high-end designer products, there is no price comparing! If you need to compare prices, then you really can't afford the merchandise. That is how they maintain their reputation and quality control. They are priced out of most folks range to keep their items exclusive!

Yes, this is true !

I don't think people who buy Louis Vuitton are buying off the internet. Those bags cost thousands of dollars.

King of Prussia Plaza has a Louis Vuitton boutique!!! I get the sweats just passing it :rotfl2:

I will GUARANTEE you that Macy's does not sell authentic Vitton bags!!!!!!! They sell bags that closely resemble LV, but not the real thing. Like I said, eluxury or an actual LV boutique is the only place to purchase authentic LV merchandise.

Wanna buy it?:lmao:

Nooo idea other than as mentioned above where else they can be purchased?

By limiting the availability of their merchandise, certain high-end designers have a little more control of their products. For example, you cannot purchase a Chanel bag online at Saks or Neiman's but they do have little boutiques in their department stores. That is limiting the merchandise. That is controlling the merchandise.

My Louis Vuitton came from the Louis Vuitton counter at Macy's at the Birmingham Riverchase Galleria. It is NOT an imitation, it came with the lock and key and the paperwork. So yes, some Macy's DO sell LV.

That is true, but I just wanted to check anyway. I've never bought a LV bag before and didn't know if there were other sites for it or not. Affording it is not a problem, I'm just a curious first time buyer. Majority of all of my other bags are Juicy, they are just so cute and fun....lol....DH told me that I should find myself a more MATURE bag and he'll buy :).

Our Saks in Downtown Pittsburgh sell AUTHENTIC LV purses. DH looked into buying one for me and yes he also said it came with all the necessary things to certify it was authentic.

Though I would have killed him if he spent a couple thousand on a purse for me, my $60.00 fake one is just fine. ;)

I think pretty much all legit LV handbags would be priced the same, irregardless of where you buy.

My DD loves Juicy...I bought her one for Christmas and saw it yesterday..different color tho...for more than $200 cheaper than what I bought it for...

That hurt!:sad1:

I have to say that I was skeptical about them, had a hard time justifying the cost, etc., but small satchel is 14 years old now and is still in good shape. The leather has darkened to a coppery brown but it still looks pretty darn good. I have had tons of other high end bags but have not had any others that I keep pulling out again and again!

Yep, if you are going to invest that amount of money for a bag then you do want to make sure that you have an authentic bag! My daughter wanted a nice bag for her 18th birthday. (Yep, she is spoiled, but is not a brat). She couldn't make up her mind between a Fendi Spy Bag and a Chanel bag. I thought that the Fendi was very "trendy" and would be out of style fairly quickly but......

I ended up getting both for her! I know the Chanel is a classic and she will be able to carry it for quite some time.

I live in the middle of nowhere......so purchasing these bags meant either flying 500 miles to Phoenix, or Denver, or Dallas.....or purchasing online. The Chanel boutique was great at working with me (taking photos and emailing them to me to that I could "see" the bag).

You DO want to make sure that you are buying authentic from an authorized place.

I used to think I wanted a LV bag, too. Then one time we had a long layover in Dallas (3 hours) and I really noticed all these fake bags and decided that it seemed like "everyone" had one and I no longer wanted one! Chanel for me!

Enjoy your bag and give your hubby a big hug for buying you one!;)

I used to think the same thing (meaning skeptical). I tried other bags too, but always went back to my LV.Mine lasted 18 years and to purchase a new one would be $800. Let's see $800.00 divided by 18 is $44.44 a year. I'll take it. Now, just to convince DH!!!;)

Myself and my 2 DD's included...when did buying a purse get so crazy???
It seems to have really spiralled in the past couple of years into such a craze?

I have a closet full as do my daughters...Chanel, Coach, LV, Fendi, Juicy you name it. But I still think it's nuts and wonder when I first began thinking that it wasn't!:confused3

Nieman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, and the Louis Vuitton stores carry REAL products.
