Where art thou Disney Bear?

Hi folks! I was wondering about those who just came back from a WDW trip. Did you all see whether the Disney Bear was still for sale in the Marketplace? I know they were there last November in the toy store.

I have to admit that I fell in love with them and picked up three in varying colors. I plan on picking up at least one or two more this October during our annual trip to mecca. And I will also freely admit that these bears are for me! Tall, 36 year old manly dork that I am!

We were there last week and I saw them in Once Upon a Toy Store at DTD.

Disney Bears are great! They're your basic stuffed bear, and upon looking at them, they seem to be very unDisney like. But when you really look, they're covered in hidden Mickey's!

The muzzle and hair around the eyes is one Mickey, there's a little one on his rear end, and his paws have hidden ones too.

Ack!! Covered in Hidden Mickeys?!?! I didn't realize that!! I think I may need one of these! I see there are a number of green ones on ebay -- I know they come in brown, too, but does anyone remember what other colors they come in? I'm thinking they'd make wonderful Christmas gifts for my niece and nephews!

Definitely get one if you're a Hidden Mickey fan. It's especially fun when someone is admiring it simply for it's "cute" factor but the look on their face when you tell them that there are four hidden corporate mouse icons is great! Even though the Mickey's are in plain site, because they are so cleverly blended in to what one would normally see on a stuffed bear, it can be a puzzle (albeit easy to Hidden Mickey fans).

I do know they come in tan, brown, grey, white, green and blue. I think they have a couple more colors but am not sure. They have two different versions, one sitting up in the traditional teddybear style and one lying on his belly, taking a nap. I'm far more partial to the traditional. BUT, call me a big geek, I want every color! And I only have the tan, brown and grey ones for now.

Now I find out these adorable bears are covered in hidden Mickey's. I could just kick myself in the bum! They had them this weekend in St. Augustine Outlet for $6.99 (grey and brown lying down) and different colors of the bear bunny for last easter. Now, I will have to go back this next weekend and see if there are any left!!

Wow I wish I had bought the lying down style years ago. I would love to have one, but they are currently being sold on ebay for hundreds of dollars!

It should be one and the same.

The ones in different colours would be harder to find because they were limited editions many years back.

I have the traditional light brown one that came out last Fall.

You can meet Duffy and get a photo and autograph in Epcot at the entrance to World Showcase (turn left) They have lots of Duffy bears in the store too.

That is where we saw Duffy also and he was in Disney Cruise Line clothes. So cute!
