Last weekend we stayed at the Wellesley Inn and Suites for 63.00 a night for a double suite and I have ressies for May for a kidsuite at the Holiday Inn Sunspree resort. With as much as we go, it would be impossible to stay onsite all the time. I am averaging about one onsite stay a year now and only when I get fantastic rates, for example, I was able to stay at the Poly in Nov for 200.00 a night. Many of the offsite places are very nice and with the rates being so much lower it is just a better value. Example: I had originally booked an Allstars Movies for 3 nights in May at 74.00 a night. Then I got a code for a rate for the kidsuite for 3 nights for 55.00 a night. The Allstar room is pretty small, so I thought I have to go with the kidsuite, it is just a better value and to top it off the kids eat free. We like to be able to go back in our room in the evening and relax and unwind, and so we need a large room.
One Disney resort I really am going to try in the future will be the Sarasota Springs resort. I saw it from Dowtown Disney today and it just looks so beautiful!

We'll be staying at Boardwalk Villas this December. It's our favorite resort! This should be a really fun/interesting trip as we'll be taking our 6 month old baby for his first trip (and our 5 yos 5th!). Plus we'll be traveling with 4 other families (for a grand total of 22 people!) We know we won't be able to do everything together (we went with 3 other families last year); but it will be fun to get together for a few rides and meals, plus some hanging out at the resort pool. I can't wait!

POFQ in May. I have a pending trip in April and have a ressies at POP Century, the only thing is that the air fare is too expensive!!

We don't know where we're staying just yet. Right before I got downsized, I booked ressies to split our stay between Poly and AKL concierge. I am hopeful that I will find a new job soon, so I haven't cancelled those reservations yet. However, we have made some alternate plans in case we need to downsize the vacation budget. Our deluxe alternate is the Contemporary, our moderate alternate is POFQ, and our value alternate is Pop Century. I just hope we get to go to WDW this year.
