Hi! Dh and I decided tonight that a Christmas WDW trip might be nice! Just wondering where to eat for Christmas and Christmas Eve??We would like something rather traditional! Any ideas? Just wondering where everyone else is eating?:santa:

Xmas Eve dinner will be at the Grand Floridian Cafe and Xmas dinner will be Ches de France for the Candlelight Processional package.

we are doing 50's PT on Christmas Day (crazy, I know), and we are doing the Wishes Dessert party on Christmas Eve (though I'm worried how late it will be, being that it is Christmas Eve for the kiddos)

Le Cellier Candlelight package Christmas Eve, and Liberty Tree for Christmas.

I am not going for Christmas, but if i was i would eat at Liberty Tree Tavern. We love the food and it is Traditional holiday food.

You'll need to find whatever is still available for those days. Everyone else started booking them at 180 days out. Good luck.

We have ADR's for Akershus for breakfast and Candlelight Package at Tutto for an early dinner on Christmas Eve and Liberty Tree Tavern on Christmas Day. :santa: I have had good luck switching things around but popular ressies are getting hard to find. Definitely book your ADR's soon!

xmas eve at biergarten for the 8:15 CP show

xmas day at whispering canyon, maybe asking for the "quiet" section, maybe not. staying "home" (WL) most of xmas day - resting, reflecting, appreciating, and being grateful. at least that's the plan right now. busy park week ahead afterward.

dining was able to tell me what the special xmas menu offering would be, that it would be served family style, and what it cost. i was pleasantly surprised by the up-the-scale offerings.

Christmas Eve ~ Victoria & Alberts

Christmas Day ~ Trails End in FW and renting a golf cart to see all of the decorations throughout the campgrounds!

xmas wcw GF cafe, xmas day WCC, will be seated in the quiet section. We love the xmas platter they serve on xmas day and it's all you can eat and be served at your table.

Thanks for all the responses!:santa: Does anyone know which restaurants have a special Holiday menu?? :santa: I was able to book on line, Crystal Palace for lunch and Cape May for dinner (12/24) and Kona (bkfst) and Le Cellier (dinner) for (12/25)! but 1900 PF was also avail for 12/25 and we are wondering if we should switch????:santa: We were also able to make ressie for each day from the 18th on without any difficulty!:santa: But, really would like some input on any Holiday menus???

Last year we had Xmas dinner at Cape May. They had special holiday items like turkey with all the trimmings. Our Xmas Eve dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe was their regular menu. I think--though I'm not sure--that most buffets have special holiday items but we did not see much evidence of special items at other places. The Epcot restaurants seemed to have regular items on Xmas Day for instance.

Christmas Eve we are doing LTT for lunch and then have the Dessert Party booked. Christmas day we have a late breakfast at WCC and then Dinner at CM followed by the Pirate and Pals fireworks cruise!!

WCC has a special menu that is yummy!

X-Mas Eve we're eating at the Coral Reef with the Candlelight Processional Package.

X-Mas we're eating at Via Napoli...what's better than pizza for X-mas dinner?:rotfl:

I would agree with LTT if you're wanting to go traditional.

We are doing Xmas Eve at home and Xmas day we are trying something new and going to O'hana. We have done 1900 Park Fare every year before but last year the dinner was so bad we switched to going during our December trip for breakfast just so we can see the Gingerbread House and get our goodies.

Just a heads up, we had dinner at Ohana on Thanksgiving last year. We were really dissapointed that it was "Thanksgiving" food, not Ohana food. I read they do the same on Christmas. Not that the food was bad, just not what we wanted. We had done LTT the night before for our Thanskgiving dinner so we were excited to eat the regular Ohana menu. Still a great location/meal, just wouldn't want anpne else to be dissapointed.

As for us, we have Ohana for Christmas Eve so we really are hoping it's the regular menu. Christmas Day we are going totally not traditional, Hollywood and Vine bfast adn Sci Fi Dinner. We do have LTT for the 26th for Christmas dinner food.

Woah Gabe's Mom! We had the same story about last Thanksgiving!!!

We had gotten off our a 3 day Disney Cruise the day before, so we stayed long enough to have T-giving dinner in the World. We love O hana, so I was excited to get a ressie for dinner. We were quite sad to see the traditional menu when we arrived. No offense, but I wasn't going to pay $140 for the 4 of us to eat turkey and fixens.

So we left and had a wonderful meal at ESPN! Kids really wanted to watch football anyway! A nice meal at a much more reasonable cost.

I believe I cooked our traditional turkey dinner after we got home that weekend!
