WHERE Are Toddlers Required to Wear Masks?

I haven't posted here in years! :)

My family wants to do a DLR trip ASAP now that we can do it maskless. However, my grandson is 24 months old and we are trying to figure out where in the parks 2 year olds are expected to wear a mask? He will not be masked; so I guess what we're actually trying to do is figure out if going now would mean he would be excluded from too many things for it to be worth the effort and expense. TIA for any insight you can offer!

The only place it would be enforced is the buses from the Toy Story parking lot if you choose to park there. it is “suggested” non-vaccinated people wear them indoors and where distancing is not possible but I saw zero enforcement on that yesterday.

Here's the official face covering policy from the website: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/travel-information/
"Guests (ages 2 and up) who are unvaccinated must continue wearing face coverings indoors, except while dining." Apparently though, they're not really enforcing this.
Also, if you take the bus transportation from the Toy Story lot, everybody wears face masks, regardless of vaccination status.

Thank you both so much for your quick replies! @SOCALMouseMommy that's what I was wondering...if they were forcing tiny children to put on masks to go on Pinocchio, things like that? But you didn't see that happening yesterday?

Your language makes me giggle a bit. "forcing tiny children to put on masks to go on Pinocchio" like yes, the CMs are forcibly holding down toddlers and wrestling masks onto them before allowing them to enter the innocent little ride. As opposed to, say, asking a strapping 10 year old to put on a mask before getting on Guardians? I think we all are pretty accustomed to asking any kiddo to wear masks, and if the accompanying adults need to do it too, to make the kids feel like it's more fair, then so be it. I work in a library, and I can tell you that all of the little kiddos who come in with their little Paw Patrol or whatever masks are perfectly comfortable with them after the last year. It shouldn't be a big ask to keep the immunocompromised among us safe.

I agree. 5 of us are fully vaccinated, but my youngest (10) isn’t. She was perfectly fine wearing her mask the entire time, even if we weren’t. And even places I told her were ok to take it off if she needed a mask break, she rarely did.

Meh. Giggle all you want. My entire family has had Covid (and breezed right through it), including the baby, so according to the most recent scientific literature, he is as immune as anyone else. You are perfectly entitled to your opinion, but your opinion may not actually be scientifically-based. If there was actually a legitimate medical reason for it in his case, I wouldn't be asking this question. Have a great day. :)

I'll give my honest feedback from last few days and I am not opening the discussion or debate ONLY reporting what I have PERSONALLY seen.

Most kids have gone maskless , and I'm including those not eligible for the vaccine. I would say 75 % to 80%. However remember we are not at 100% capacity so take that as you will.

I’m here now. The vast majority of kids between 2-11 (who can’t yet be vaccinated as of this writing) are never wearing masks anywhere inside the park.

I hear announcements near the bus line that everyone must wear one on the bus.

I really appreciate the question and the honest answers. I’d been tentatively planning a trip for Feb 2022 but would not be comfortable with what’s been described above.

We are taking DGS in December and he is 4, so will be wearing a mask......and so, we will be too
