Me and DBF and leaving in 6 days! We have all of our ressies planned out, but I am curious as to how accomodating are disney restaurants as far as requesting things such as no sauce or no tomatos? Neither of us have eaten as any TS restaurants at Disney so I just want to make sure that this won't be a problem.
Thanks! :flower3:

Usually they are pretty good if you ask for something to be "on the side" or no tomatoes, onions, that sort of thing.

If in doubt always ask for it on the side, isn't a problem.

I have serious picky eater syndrome, lol, and my DD(age 4) will eat anything, ironic!!! LOL

I have never had a problem with simple requests like "no sauce or on the side" at WDW, they are usually very accommodating.

Where are you eating? I found the TS places pretty accommodating. For instance at Tutto, they have grilled chicken covered in tomato and melted cheese (or something like that.) They were able to give my son just the grilled chicken. I also asked for the mashed potatoes to be given to him beside the chicken instead of under the chicken, and it was.

I am a VERY VERY picky eater and I constantly ask things like "No sauce" or "Can I have that on the side?" I do this all the time and they never once had a problem accommodating my needs. Hope this helps. =)

I am a really picky eater! I don't have a problem when I ask for no sauce etc. The chefs probably hate it when I ask for my food plain and sub mashed potato or whatever, but they do it ;) The only problem I have had is at the wave. They don't have fries or mashed. They told me the white bean mash tastes just like a mashed potato---------NO. I got the chicken pot pie. Another problem is at CS when my son asks for a hamburger not cheeseburger. It almost always comes with cheese and we have to send it back. I think it is that they are so used to making them they automaticly add the cheese!
You shouldn't have any problems! Enjoy! :)

i have to agree with the other posts, I was almost 3 months pregnant our last disney trip, and was very picky about what i ate. They were very accomodating.

Thanks to everyone for all your responses! I'm so glad I found this board and everyone is so super helpful :)

Where are you eating?

We are eating at Via Napoli, Crystal Palace, The Plaza, Ciderella's Royal Table (I'm so excited!!), & Sci-Fi Drive In.

I researched all the menus to find something me and DBF both like since we're BOTH equally picky LOL! :lmao:

I have eaten at all these places except Cindy's. Didn't have a problem at any of them!
CP buffet is good
Plaza is one of my favs. Love the turkey sandwich and fries. Soup is good too not to mention the sundaes!
Ate at Via Napoli in Dec. we had cheese pizza and chix parm. The Zeppole di catarina for dessert was TDF. :worship::worship:OMG I want it right now!
Sci Fi I have had burgers, apps and ribs. I asked for no extra sauce on the ribs and they were great, not too saucy or messy!

I am not a picky eater but dated a very picky eater. You won't find a more accommodating place than disney for a picky eater. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. At least that has been my experience.

Disney for the most part is still all about the guest and making them happy. I have always found that they are willing to work with a "picky eater".

I wouldn't hesitate to voice any concerns about a meal - I have always found that Disney is pretty flexible with its eaters. :)
