This is more of a vent than a question! :) We went to the Disney store yesterday to pick up some discounted shirts for our trip, and it made me sad kind of sad! There were all of these beautiful dresses and outfits for girls, and hardly anything for boys. And what was there was all olive, red and brown. My son is 2 years old. He can wear bright, vibrant colors too. How come girls get all the magic? :)

So it's not just me! I can't find much cute Disney stuff for my son either. I've had better luck at Wal-mart that at the Disney store.

I was lucky that when my son was about 2 the Cars movie came out, so there was plenty to pick from then. Since then...not so much.
Seriously, am I going to buy him a Meet the Robinsons T-shirt? And how old is The Incredibles movie now? And as much as I thought the Rat movie, he will not be a rodent for Halloween.
I also find a much better boys selection elsewhere...

There isn't a large selection for boys because there are so many fathers like me who would never put boys in Disney clothes.

I don't have babies, but my boys wore alot of Lion King!

My complaint when they were young was the GENERAL clothing! It was just horrible trying to dress them up CUTE!

Just wanted to send out another Momma who was there and done that!

Amen to that! It's a problem everywhere. Apparently, to be manly, you must be boring.

I've been wondering that since my nephew (now 4 1/2) was expected. Why can't ANYONE seem to understand that Mommas want their boys to look cute.

Oh, and you may really want to try Walmart & Kmart. I got DS a big stack of Disney T-shirts, button up shirts, and shorts at K-mart in their clearance section late this summer, some of which was sort of cute. :) Just checked his closet. There's a Tigger outfit that's a bright orange & light blue. A Lightning outfit in light blue & red checks. Both of those are brighter than a lot of what's out there for boys now. The rest of what I got there is more standard drabish colors. And I got a Pooh hat from Walmart that has a brilliant blue in it.

May I ask why? Many boys like to have their favorite Disney character on a shirt or pants. DS2 loves his Buzz Lightyear shirts and happily wears Mickey Mouse. It's not all he wears, but I am not sure why you would be so against it? This is the DIS after all, full of Disney fans;)

There are some cute clothes for boys in general. They are more expensive, but grandma buys our son lots of cute things. It is harder than finding cute girl clothes, though. For little kids, brands like Zutano and Mulberribush have bright outfits for little boys.

I think I'm just jealous because I was looking through all of those fabulous custom boutique creations. Wah!!!! 99% of them are for girls and they are all so pretty!!!!! :)

DH has no problem dressing DS in disney clothes :confused3 , and I'm sure that won't stop until DS absolutely refuses! He searches for the clothes with disney characters on them, actually! Really, our only dispute is that DH likes Mickey and Nemo, and I'm a Winnie-the-Pooh fan! :lmao: What's wrong with boys in character clothes? Every little boy I've ever met loves wearing clothes with their favorite characters on them!

I had some good luck finding clearance clothes for DS this weekend at the Disney store. Okay, by "boy clothes" I mean I found some gender-neutral stuff, but I'll take what I can get! (Because, you know, when you're going to DL in 4 days, who doesn't need to stock up on disney clothes now?) I'm hoping to find stuff in the park, but I've never had good luck finding clothes at WDW, so I'm not so hopeful. But as this is our first time with a baby, maybe it will go better!

I too have had good luck finding disney clothes at Walmart, they have some adorable stuff. Sears has some good stuff too. Boy clothes are just never as fun as girl clothes!

I don't understand the 'boys can't wear disney clothes' crack.....:confused3
I won't buy my boys a princess dress, but ds8 has Stitch on almost every shirt he wears!(last years stuff was Stitch heavy:lmao: )
ds14 will still wear certain Disney stuff,it just has to be 'cool'
pirates,mean Donald,Big Bad Wolf.....
For youngers I like Stitch stuff,it's usually fun and bright,I like pairing a cute tee with screaming orange shorts....red crocs.... now that's bright, and fun! When he's not wearing stitch tees,he wears tie dyes.....

This is funny, my wife bought our boys (3 & 5) and myself matching shirts a few weeks ago for our trip this week. I told her there is NO chance I am wearing anything with Disney on it. The boys don't seem to mind, but I'm sure they will in a few years.

I'm sure your boys will stop wearing them pretty soon...kids model parents choices,my DH doesn't mind wearing Disney whatever,so the boys see no problem with it. DS14,as mentioned before, has 'standards';) but he'll still wear things...DS is 40and has a full drawer!

Disney online just had great sales on T-shirts...I was looking for Princesses, but I saw some boy stuff too.

DS6 has been wearing Cars stuff for abut a year, and DH has JUST decided that we're done with shirts with characters, animals, airplanes, etc, on it. He sat DS in front of a Lands End catalog and told him he could pick anything with stripes or solids.

Unfortunately for DH, I "buy ahead" so DS has a closet full of clothes that are too big with animals, dump trucks, helicopters, and 2 new pairs of Lightning McQueen pajamas!!!

This is a sore topic for me:headache: We were in WDW in Feb and I literally brought only 2 t-shirts for DS and that was after looking the entire world for something cute. And no toys, we took 200 just for him and came home with only 2 shirts:sad2:

Now I'm trying to look eveywhere for cute dress up clothes for xmas pictures with no luck-not even at children's place online.

my hubby will not wear disney stuff, either! i bought him a $40 tie that you could not tell was disney...still won't touch it! geesh!

My husband wears his Mickey polo shirt all the time. He prefers polo shirts, so we designed polo shirts for all of through disney shopping. We have a couple tshirts that he only wears at Disney since we match. But he won't wear a basic tshirt unless he has to, due to constantly wearing a tshirt for Army Reserves.

My son is 15 years old, he wears his Goofy basketball shirt, Goofy tshirts constantly. Course he is sorta Goofy! haha

My 11 year old son depends on his mood. He had to have the Stitch jersey but says he will wear when we are at Disney! It hangs on his curtain for him to see!

We created a couple Polo and Tshirts for their Christmas presents this year, then of course made the Hidden Mickey shirts that we found on here!

I would try Disney shopping and see about creating a tshirt or polo shirt!

I've been able to find several clothing for my DS3 in Walmart and Target.

Just bought him a Little Einsteins outfit for when we do breakfast at H&V. From what I've read there are two characters from the Little Einsteins there.
