Where are the best lit places to take pics of MK night parades?

I am going back down to WDW in a couple weeks and might be going to a pirate and princess party. I have a panasonic dmc-tz3, so I need all the help I can get when it comes to trying to take pics of the night time parades at MK.

My question is that I know there are in essence "flood light" devices along the parade route that allow for (somewhat) better lighting - has anyone had any luck getting decent pics in these areas and where exactly where you on the parade route when you took your pics?

thanks for the help!

I'm not sure what they do with the lights on Main St. IIRC most of them are shut off.

When we did MVMCP in Dec DW got us a spot right in front of the Diamond Horseshow in Frontierland. I was very thrilled when I met up with her as they left the outside light on. I do have a very fast lens, but the extra light was very helpful.

There is a wide set of stairs that goes up to the porch. On one side of the stairs is a small tree. I stood right under/next to that tree. Got a great view and since the tree is there I wasn't blocking anyone else's view.

You can see the shadow of the tree in this shot:

This shot looks a little to the left out of the shadow of the tree:

Thanks H, anyone else have some spots to suggest?

When I go on my solo trips, to shoot Spectro, I set up my tri on the right side of the garbage can in front of the Emporium. There's only enough room for me, tri & maybe a small person because the rope is there for the walkway...so no one can stand to my right and the garbage can to my left...heavenly. :cloud9:
I like the curve view around the flagpole. Not the best place to try to catch WISHES afterwards though.
Can't wait to try it with my 50mm f1.8 in May to cut down the noise!!:goodvibes
Here's a few examples:
