Hey Penny, Where will you be staying? We are staying at Pop (for the first time and I am very nervous about a value) May 28th through June 6th.

We are renting a house this trip. DH says he has to have room if we are staying that long. I wish he would like it so much he would decide to move.

Hey gang! I'm in major planning mode for October WDW/US/IOA trip. We're staying at the Portofino Bay Hotel! Anyone got any restaurant suggestions for Universal area? I know we're doing Tchoup Chop and the Latin Quarter but I need two more!!!

Last trip we ate at Texas De Brazil. Loved it! We plan to eat there again this time. Are you going to have a car?

Last trip we ate at Texas De Brazil. Loved it! We plan to eat there again this time. Are you going to have a car?

Hi everyone. I'm Tricia from Mandeville and we'll be back at Disney in May. We usually go for Mardi Gras so it will definitely feel weird not being there next month. We are actually leaving on the last day of school which for us is the 25th. We are staying at the Bonnet Creek ( right next door to the Caribbean Beach). We haven't stayed off property in years but my sister owns a time share and scored the 4 bedroom presidential suite. So why not?

I don't know how I missed this thread but I'm sure glad I found it.

I've been wondering where Froggy was myself.

Portofino Bay is my favorite of the three Universal Hotels with Hard Rock a very close second.

We always stop by Margaritaville for some sweet tea and a burger and go to the Hard Rock Cafe. Plan to try Bubba Gump this trip.

Have I mom-bragged on my son to y'all? He will graduate from State Police Academy next week. I'm so very proud of him. He won't be joining us this trip, no vacation time yet but says he will just mind the house here for us.

I'm from Gramercy, LA (west of New Orleans) We're going to WDW right after Labor Day from Sept 9-13th.
